Last month, a garbage truck caused a parking lot on Interstate 35 through downtown Austin when it got stuck underneath the overpass at I-35 and 12th Street. To avoid scenes like that from happening in the future, the Texas Department of Transportation is installing a new bridge warning system to detect overheight trucks along the southbound lanes of I-35 between Airport Boulevard and Riverside Drive. It is clear that we are almost evenly divided between Trump and Cruz (tip of the hat to DoughtyOne for the Caucus threads). The faculty council at an Illinois Christian college recommended Wednesday that the school end its effort to fire a professor who asserted while wearing a headscarf that Christians and Muslims worship the same God. An illegal immigrant allegedly bound a 3-year-old girl with duct tape, stuffed her in a trash bag, put her in a closet of feces and then offered her up for sex from his Arizona apartment. AIR Namibia experienced a bird strike incident on Thursday last week when an A319-100 aircraft was landing at Hosea Kutako International Airport.
