Our little warrior Jaxson needs your prayers again

I am trying to get the prayer chains going again... For those of you unfamiliar with Jaxson's journey, We have had some previous prayer threads for him over the past few years... Here are links to them to give you some background on Jaxson's condition if you don't know it.

My Daughter, Katie, had a page that has his history on it up to about May '18 here Jaxson's got guts until she stopped updating there and moved it to Facebook... I don't think she has done much updating anything since she started school and working awhile back.

I am so sorry, I have been wanting to update Jaxson's prayer team since Christmas eve and I couldn't get back here to my computer to do it... it seems like there is just not enough hours in the day anymore. I am buried in work that keeps me way too busy lately and don't even get here to F/R to keep up with current events much anymore, but I can't complain, having work is MUCH better than not having it.

I will start by saying, Jaxson is doing Awesome! He still has the Trach in but the last time they checked there was more movement in the diaphragm so they think it will heal up without requiring surgery, just more time. It does not seem to bother him much at all, We had a little scare a few weeks back when she could not get the trach back in when doing a weekly trach change. She was able to get the smaller one in and get him to the doctor. He had some tissue growth around the incision that was blocking the trach from going back in, they were able to remove that during a previously scheduled scope appointment.

Jaxson still is not eating solid food, he gets formula pumped in through the G-tube, but he has started tasting stuff here and there at least. He is also taking some medication orally now too, but it is going to be a difficult transition with him never eating anything his whole life. At least he is growing and gaining weight now much better than he was on that TPN before the transplant.

Katie said Drs told her they would be talking about reversing the Stoma after the first of the year, which will be really nice to get rid of the ostomy bags. Hopefully the trach won't be too much longer, He is off the ventilator 4 hours a day, sometimes a little longer and he does fine off it.

Here are a few recent photos... First of him making Christmas cookies and tasting the frosting. Then a couple from Christmas morning, him opening his gifts and one of him and his sister on their new 3 wheel scooters. Lastly a cute one of Jaxson holding his newest cousin Brooklyn at Christmas dinner, He loves holding his baby cousins... She will be 3 months old on New Years day.
