Funny, but until now, when I pictured you as "armed and ready," it wasn't with a whisk and spatula. Now I know!

(P.S. Every fine dessert should have rich dark DARK dark chocolate, not that wimpy Dutch-style stuff! Ending a fawnnd feast with Dutch chocolate is like showing up in Texas and adding beans to the chili and putting a Cornish game hen on the fire and calling it a BBQ!) ;)

you haven't lived until you've tried to remove cheese grits from under the hammer of a P-239. what's even scarier is how hot your spare magazines can get when you're grilling.

LOL... for the first years of our marriage, I bought my wife wonderful kitchen thingies... you know, the kind of stuff for which you need direct-deposit at bed, bath and beyond... and it turns out *I* use all that stuff. I guess I just felt guilty about buying new guns. she fixed that situation... if I get a new gun, I have to get her one. sheesh.

Every time Alton Brown shows some new toy on Good Eats, I end up buying it. I'm gonna blame my particular neurosis on satelite tv. then, I'm going upstairs to get something slow cooking and go to the range for an hour.

We won't even discuss my shop.
