The Free Republic 3rd quarter FReepathon is underway!

Howdy everyone. Time to get rolling again on raising the funds necessary to keep FR on the air. We've accomplished quite a bit in the last few years on FR, but there is much more work to be done. FReeper activism was an important factor in Clinton's impeachment effort as well as helping to block Al Gore's attempted theft of the White House. And more recently, FReepers organized and supported hundreds of rallies in cities all across the nation countering the peaceniks and rallying public support for our President and our troops. I thank God that George W. Bush was our President on 9/11 instead of Al Gore! And I thank God for the tens of thousands of patriotic FReepers who worked so hard to help make that happen!

The next 18 months or so are going to be supercritical in our continued fight against liberalism. The liberals will be attempting to retake control of our government and they will no doubt pull out all stops in regards to corruption in fundraising, campaigning and electioneering. And we still have the Clintons and their followers waiting in the wings. Even though President Bush enjoys high popularity ratings, anything can happen.

We must double and redouble our efforts to block the liberals and win a landslide election for Bush and the Republicans. If we give Bush and the Republicans a conservative mandate and a filibuster proof Senate then we will have an historic opportunity of appointing and approving a conservative court and a possibility of overturning decades of liberal activist rulings!

It's time to get this show on the road! I'm urging a nationwide FReeper drive to register voters and get out the conservative vote. This is not an election where we can afford to stay home or sit on our hands or register protest votes. Every conservative vote is critical!

And, as always, we must remain diligent. FReepers gathering and disseminating relevant news items, exposing and refuting liberal lies, propaganda and corruption coupled with our nationwide rallies and protests and activism are making a difference.

Looking forward to an exciting election cycle and many years of conservative successes to follow.

Thanks very much for your continuing participation and support!

FReegards,

Jim Robinson

"precious"???? are you kidding????

There is nothing precious about a 5 year old that knows how to cheat at a water gun fight. She turned the hose on me.

I'm going to have to talk to her father about that. I think she learned that trick from daddy.

Yes we are terrible parents we believe in water guns and having water gun fights!!!!! We've had 2 of the big 'super soaker' type water weapons for at least 10 years - a third was acquired last week when daddy got one for Jax for her birthday - I spent the better part of the weekend soaking wet!!!!!

I think it's because attorneys, like others, are convinced while in college that "intelligent people" join the Democratic Party. Then, once they're smart enough to realize they're in the wrong place, they're too high up in that wrong place to want to change, so they remain there, only to be held back from going higher up if they don't support the socialist agenda.

Let the liberals start their own talk radio network. If I had unlimited funds, I'd start a secular conservative college, conservative law school, and -- shoot! while I'm at it!, a secular seminary, too. ;)

My daughter and the grandbabies are due to get here any minute. Later, I'll try to remember to dig out the link to my post about the grandson and his squirt guns!

(Do me a favor: In about two weeks, freep me about your peppers.) ;)

LOL!!! Good for you!!!!!

OTOH I went to an extremely liberal college and still came out a conservative republican, just like when I went in.

I can't say unequivocally that my daughter will turn out a conservative republican - but conservative she will be, as both my husband and I are conservatives, although he tends to lean more libertarian than I do.

LOL! What a cool kid! Smart, too! :o)

"Yes we are terrible parents we believe in water guns and having water gun fights!!!!!"

NO - You're PERFECT PARENTS! Water gun fights with kids are better than a trip to the beach!

Monthly donors can ignore these freepathons, folks. It's PAINLESS, and it's easy. Arrange a monthly gift of as much as you can afford. $25 has a nice, plummy sound...

Thank you.

But we take her to the beach when we can. The neat thing about where we live now is that we can take her either to the bay, which we do often for surf fishing, or to the ocean and can be at either in less than 30 minutes. In fact it takes us longer to load up the car than it takes for us to get to the beach.

But water gun fights are fun and we really do enjoy them - all of us!!!

I actually became hero on Saturday when I found the sprinkler. I had bought the thing for one reason and one reason only - and it had nothing to do with watering the garden!!!

But for the past few weeks I had been unable to find it - I was to the point on saturday that I was going to go buy another one, but then I found it behind a box!!! Yeah mommy!!!!

Hubby was working on removing the old access to the attic which happened to have been in her room and I really needed to keep her out of the house - kid + sprinkler = hours of fun!!!!!!!!! and daddy able to get things done!!!
