URGENT: The Commander-in-Chief needs our help. Our brave military needs our support. Heck, America needs our leadership.
Were in a very real, potentially very hot war not of our choosing, but one that each one of us has a responsibility to help win. We on the center-Right to Right side of the political spectrum cannot afford to cede the public relations aspects of this war to the Left and to the terrorists and tyrants the Leftists coddle with their stupid protests. Unlike the 1960s, if we sit back and dont respond to the Left, this time we may very well sign our own death warrants and those of our children and grandchildren. We simply cannot let the enemy win.
Yesterday, Hollywood Leftist mouthpiece, Mike Farrell, was on the Sean Hannity radio program. In response to a caller who tried her best to tell him off, he issued a challenge. In his most condescending, scornful, smug manner, he essentially told her to go out and organize her own protests if she didnt like what he and his fellow travelers were doing.
OK! Fine. For the last several days Ive been having a little debate with myself as to whether or not to try to start what I would call the "Six Little Words" campaign. Finally decided that, instead of "grumbling in my beer" about the likes of Mr. Farrell, or taking my anger out on the family and dogs, I decided hes right. Its time to take up Farrells challenge. Perhaps he unwittingly awoke a sleeping giant: Americans everywhere who oppose the Lefts agenda. Or perhaps not. We shall see.
We on the Right tend not to go out in the streets and protest. But can we at least rouse ourselves to do something very easy, very inexpensive, and very quick to make OUR voices heard? How, you ask? With "Six Little Words" that just may help save our civilization.
Its time for you, and I, and everyone who understands the danger, to stand up and be counted. Its time to see what we're really made of after all, if the hijackings and anthrax atrocities of Sept. and Oct. 2001, and the sniper attacks last year, have taught us anything, it is that we are all on the front lines in this war.
Pick up a pen or pencil, take a piece of paper and write: IRAQ: I SUPPORT YOU, MR. PRESIDENT. Put the paper in an envelope, seal it, slap a stamp on it, and mail it to:
President George W. Bush
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500
DO NOT USE EMAIL TO CONTACT THE WHITE HOUSE. Handwritten letters are still the most effective way to contact our elected officials. Volume emails (spam) just pile up and often are deleted without being read. There is still no substitute for millions of pieces of mail arriving at the Presidential offices.
Be sure to send the letters to the WHITE HOUSE, not Congress. Congress is out of this now, since they already authorized the President to take all necessary action. They are not likely to take up another resolution. However, if youre in the mood, make COPIES of your "Six Little Words" letter to the President and send ONE EACH to your member of Congress and your states two senators. If you dont know who they are or where to address the envelopes, look here: House. and Senate.
Then talk to, phone and/or email your family, friends, business associates, neighbors, local political clubs, and anyone else you can think of, and urge them to do the same. It should not be one letter per household, but one letter for each person in the household old enough to sign their own name.
So what if the Left can turn out millions in the streets. Each and every one of us has the power to counter them. We FReepers should be able to generate millions of "Six Little Words" letters to the President with even a small effort.

In addition to sending letters to the President, I believe we should find out where the anti-U.S. crowd will be gathering, and counterprotest to the best of our ability. This lefty site lists protests by state. If possible, go there with a sign (or with several friends carrying signs) and just hold it where people can see it. You don't need to argue, and certainly shouldn't put yourself in harm's way.
