Democrats Are Trying to Neutralize Gun Supporters

Phil Brennan, NewsMax.com
Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2002

Democrats are beginning to understand that being anti-gun can cost gun control advocates an election, a lesson learned the hard way by Al Gore in the 2000 elections when gun owner’s opposition cost him enough votes to hand George Bush his victory. Gore they note, even lost his home state of Tennessee largely on the gun issue.

As a result of this sudden revelation, Democrat candidates are trying their best to show that they are as quick on the draw when it comes to supporting Second Amendment gun rights as their Republican opponents, according to the New York Times.

And shocked gun control supporters are trying to convince Democrats that the tide has not turned against them, falling back on their now discredited claim that most gun ownership advocates are a small minority composed largely of what they see as poor white males living in an unsophisticated rural America.

It’s a tactic that’s clearly not working.

Not only does the Constitution insure individual gun ownership, but so does the Common Law of the land. Only the stupid Democrats would need to get their fingers burned so badly to figgure that out.

I don't care much for the free speech issue either but it's part of a foundation that keeps us all glued togeather as a nation. We are the sum of many parts both good and bad that without one moots the other IMHO........I'll keep my firearms to help ensure others rights to speak their mind :o)

Stay Safe !

"They may not be advancing the agenda of the National Rifle Association,

Times reporter Katherine Q. Seelye thinks that supporting the Constitution is advancing an agenda. Well, I suppose it's just not her agenda.

All DemoRATS hate gun owners. Vote Republican!!

If 2A is your only or biggest issue, the Republicans aren't the party you should vote for. Too many of them will tell you what you don't need, what is 'reasonable', and how long you should wait to get what they think you should be able to have, within certain restrictions. Don't fool yourself.
