Cincy, thanks for checking in..... this is the first I've heard of "breaking up old threads"-- whatever that may be, the changes to make this board more of a searchable database will probably make it more useful to researchers and reporters.

I've tried to figure out some way to better organize all the thousands of links in this series, and just finally gave up and consolidated the "worst of" in DUBOB 10.

You know, in pre-web days the problems getting stories out were

1- finding the stuff
2- then disseminating it

Now the opposite is true

1- you find so many stories it's hard to separate fact from rumor
2- and you can spread it across the world in a few seconds, but it's volatile, like a radio ad-- if people aren't on the board, around the time you post it, it gets lost in the clutter.
