Idon’t care what you think of his politics—former President Donald Trump just struck one of the most iconic poses in U.S. history.
His fist-raised salute of defiance is surely enough to win him re-election to the White House. Especially if the American people have to choose between a doddering incumbent and the man who got to his feet seconds after an assassination attempt and punched the air with blood trickling down his face.

Yes. I have this historic and iconic photograph now on my laptop as my wallpaper. It is one of the GREAT photos of American history and symbolic of patriots who have fought for America.

It wasn’t posed. It was the second flag. The first was too small to be seen offshore. Rosenthal caught the scene by snapping the raising and this pic is what his lens caught. There is 16mm colored film of the raising taken from the same vantage as Rosenthal’s still.

Absolutely. A heroic and defiant act right after being shot just two days before the start of the convention after a year in which Leftists have tried myriad other means to stop him from reclaiming the presidency. And the contrast between him and Biden couldn’t be starker.

To have the presence of mind to do that right after being shot is incredible. That counts as HIS cognitive test. He calmed the whole crowd by doing this.

Who put out these instructions to news media to downplay assassination attempt?
They tried to bankrupt his businesses, they tried to bankrupt his attorneys, they tried to put him in prison for life, they tried to kill him.
Don’t believe this was a lone madman, how did he get to the roof with a straight shot so easily, with people shouting “he has a gun”?
And still he stands.
This is a moment in American and world history.
God protect the other two who were severely injured.
