Brett Kavanaugh is denying he was at the party in question where Christine Blasey Ford said he attempted to rape her as a friend watched

Kavanaugh spoke with Republican Sen. Orrin Hatch, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, for about 10 minutes Monday afternoon

Kavanaugh denied to him that he was at the high school-era party in question

President Trump defended his Supreme Court nominee, saying he's 'never even had a blemish on his record' Trump also indicated he'd be fine with a delay: 'If it takes a little delay it'll take a little delay'

I have to say, her accusation and his denial are both crap!

I can tell you right now, there is no way I can remember what parties I was at during high school. NO effin clue; especially if I was drinking.

Another colossal waste of time and money.

JMHO.......she was at a drunken party 36 years ago, alright. And she was jumped and groped by a drunken teen. She had a crush on Brett Kavanaugh at the time. He wasn’t even AT the party. But all these years she has fantacized that it was him who jumped her at the party. Her 36 year motto has been: “I’ll get that bastard for not giving me the time of day!” I think that’s just as valid as what CNN, et al may come up with.

I have no idea what parties I attended in high school and there were many wild ones. After 30+ years, I couldn’t tell you for certain who was there other than the person who hosted. People came and went. Such a friggin waste of time.

And the above is magnified even more when you factor in Jack Daniels and Beer.

By then, she will lose credibility.

Maybe she is confusing Brett Kavanaugh with “Brent Cavendish,” the real perp.

FTA:

And a Hatch spokesperson told ABC News of Kavanaugh: 'He told Senator Hatch he was not at a party like the one she describes, and that Dr. Ford, who acknowledged to the Washington Post that she 'did not remember some key details of the incident,' may be mistaking him for someone else.' (My emphasis)

He seems to be a very straight sort of guy. There's a good chance that, while in HS, he never attended any drinking party where there all kids and no adult supervision.

I suspect there is a back channel of folks identifying potential parties and remembering where, when and who was there.

I hope this lefty jihadi was totally above reproach at those parties.

it is the seriousness of the charges not nature of evidence, unless against Bill Clinton

Exactly. Who of any of us can remember what parties or anything else we did in high school. I am 63 and I can’t.

My guess is (a) this woman had made all of this up or has a axde to grind with Kavanaugh and his family. Or (b) It was some little incident that she has blown up in her mind to grace accusations that at this point cannot ever be proven to have happened.

As many others have said where was she when Kavanagh was made a Federal Judge?

Important distinction. Kavanaugh did not say he was not at "that party," he said that he was never at any party like that.

FTA: "He told Senator Hatch he was not at a party like the one she describes, and that Dr. Ford, who acknowledged to the Washington Post that she 'did not remember some key details of the incident,' may be mistaking him for someone else."

“the drunken teen party where professor claims”

Seems SHE was “drunken” while HE was “not there”.

If our side played hardball like the left does, we’d have witnesses come forward saying they knew her in HS and college where she was known as the campus slut, the source for any kind of drug you’d every want, and a known liar.

Hey - they make up crap ALL the time to slander and damage our people. Look at what they did to Jim Jordan, just coincidentally at the same time when he started talking about running for Speaker.

They are dirty street fighters with AKs while the right is like the old Brits standing in formation with their muskets.

I agree with Scott Adams on this - it is likely fake, and if true, doesn’t matter.

A very liberal woman in 2012, scared Romney’s going to win and appoint Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, goes to a counselor and comes up with a story that he tried to rape her. Romney doesn’t win, so she sits on the story ... though she could have come forward at that time. Though, if true, she did NOTHING at the time though a minor or for years afterward.

Me Too comes out, and she’s silence THEN, when there’s still a hit piece on Mr. Ansari that is essentially a bad date where the girl claims she’s too weak to say no while having sex repeatedly. Another piece of evidence toward “she’s lying/it is politically motivated”.

Kavanaugh comes up for Supreme Court, and when other allegations don’t work, NOW this comes out. 30+ years later.

The fact that she didn’t come forward after Anita Hill or any other nomination, silent during Me Too, and only comes out now says this is a false accusation.

Suppose it is true? After 20 years, the allegations are impossible to disprove and should be considered forgivable under statute of limitations. You didn’t consider it bad enough to report in 1992 or 2002, we aren’t doing anything with the 2012 statement and 2018 public allegations.

Next up - Scott Adams brought up that this may be implanted memories by a therapist. Who assaulted you? Oh, he’s a judge. A few more leading questions. Oh, yeah, one guy is named Judge, the other IS a judge, Mr Cavenaugh.

I suggested here yesterday, based on the non-denial denial made by Kavenaugh's fried who was also accused, that it might just be possible that (1) the woman actually was assaulted, explaining why the friend didn't outright deny but only claimed no recollection andn that (2) Kavanaugh is telling the truth too and had nothing to do with it and the woman is either mistakenly identifying him or purposely misidentifying him.

Kavanaugh clearly read my post and is taking my lead here. Don't call the woman a liar, just say you never did that and you were never there. Implication: if it happened at all, it was someone else. But don't get into a fight calling her a liar. The way the world works nowadays they feminist outrage engine would just pounce on that.

Accuracy in recall of “repressed” memories can be a tricky thing. There is a level of processing in the human brain, which includes dream sequences, that can become as “real” as actual and experienced interactions with others. It is often in the dream state that these “repressed” memories come to the forefront, but there is also a great deal of emotional content in these recollections, and the nightmarish qualities of the avatar the mind creates to replay the sequence of events is finally more real than the life original.

Fantasy can be a powerful driving force. This one, with all the snakes she has in her head, we are supposed to believe, while some 60 women, willing to sign their name to a missive, attest to the good character and otherwise sterling qualities of Brett Kavanaugh, yet they are dismissed out of hand.

The “serious nature of the charge” needs little consideration, in view of this really unsupportable assertion.

A frivolous sort of gal, indeed.

I really don't care. What teenager isn't stupid, boorish and disgusting when drunk? IF he did it it shouldn't matter 50 years later. Are they gonna look into his pre-school behavior too? Did he kiss a little girl and gross her out? Did he pull a diaper down when a toddler? WHO-if looked at microscopically 50 years back- could meet current standards.

He's nominated for Supreme Court Justice NOT Sainthood.( and even some of them were serious sinners!)

Has Judge Kavanaugh said anything about whether or not he knows this woman? Did he know her back then? Does he ever remember meeting her? And secondly...how did she know the name of the other guy she accuses of being in the room? Pick him out of a yearbook? Remember his face, but not his name?
