I have no idea what parties I attended in high school and there were many wild ones. After 30+ years, I couldn’t tell you for certain who was there other than the person who hosted. People came and went. Such a friggin waste of time.
And the above is magnified even more when you factor in Jack Daniels and Beer.
THat is kind of the point. But if you got physically assaulted at the party, was worried for your life, and then were traumatized enough that you couldn’t forget it, I bet you’d remember what party that was.
And if you were accused of something, you’d probably know if you EVER did it, even if you can’t remember the specifics of any party you attended.
Unless you got drunk enough that you didn’t remember what you did. I have always avoided that, because I hate the idea that I would have done something and not remembered.
Although this summer, I fell backwards in a softball game and hit my head, and when I went back into the game, I played a full inning and don’t remember any of it.
