Donald Trump has fired his first shots of the general election campaign. Predictably, they have nothing to do with anything that matters. In a new video released on Instagram, Trump features audio interviews with women who’ve accused Bill Clinton of sexual assault. Against the backdrop of shadowy audio clips, the accompanying text asks if Hillary Clinton is “really protecting women.”
We hear the voices of Monica Lewinsky, Kathleen Wiley, and a clip from a 1999 Dateline interview with Juanita Broaddrick. Near the end, as the sound of Hillary Clinton’s cackle fades, the words “Here we go again” flash on the screen.
I’m no great defender of Bill Clinton. He was a competent president and did a lot of things well, but he’s also received a pass from Democrats on a number of fronts. The triangulating, the serial lying, the capitulations to white Southerners – it was all transparent and nauseating. But here’s the thing: Bill Clinton isn’t running for president, and what he did with his penis 30 years ago is irrelevant.

The Clintons have marketed themselves as a Twofer from the beginning. This is their doing, not Trump’s.
Add to that that Hillary has already stated that The Bent One will have a significant position in her administration. So, yep, it is very much about Willie as well as Cankles.
Salon is mortified that someone actually has the stones to call out the Clintons and tell the truth to their faces.
Bill looks in terrible shape. So your point may not be off the mark. However, I think he is the one person, who has nothing to fear from the present incarnation of Lady MacBeth.
If Bill himself turns out to be a victim of Arkancide it would be truly ironic.
What’s Bill going to do, grow an extra 6 inches on his right arm so he can shoot himself in the back of the head like Vince Foster? Will it happen on Epstein’s Rape Island?
If you recall much of the ‘92 election campaign, when Herself started making noises about “Two for the price of one”, Bill’s poll numbers started to collapse and Herself was quickly bundled-off to the governor’s mansion basement.
She is trying to pretend here presidency would be Bill Clinton 2.0 instead of Obama 2.0. It’s a lie, her presidency would be more like Stalin 2.0 but she is herself purposely trying to use Bill as her argument for why should be elected. Trump can use Bill as one of many reasons why she should never be elected.

Why shouldn’t the word be spread far and wide about the Clinton Crime, Rape and Pillage syndicate? Slick SKATED all through the 1990’s, by flashing his “Aw, shucks!” LI’l Abner hillbilly grin, and bluster when that did not work.
Now, he is an old man, obviously in failing health, and Herself is trying to drag him out on the campaign circuit, as some kind of paragon of whatever passes for “virtue” among liberals.
Except, Slick never was that guy. He was a groper, and on his best day, he rode sleaze and schmooze to the top. Never much of an original thinker, he was an amiable fool who had attached to the right puppet masters, and was under the control of some very big international money, never had all that much allegiance to the ideals of “America”.

If Bill Clinton is irrelevant, where does he plan to live during a Hillary presidency? Is the author saying Hillary was irrelevant during Bill’s terms in office?
It is relevant when Hillary postures herself as this great champion for women. How did she stand up for women who were speaking truth to power when that power was President Clinton?
Finally, don’t you find it simply sickening when a member of the media demands that the media do something? Most normal Americans would love to have a lapdog media that constantly attacks our opponents and refuses to cover our misdeeds?
This fool doesn’t want to see it but, Trump runs the media, they don’t run him. It’s all over for the media a poll last month showed the media has just a 6% trust rate from the America people.

Actually, part of the reason Trump did so well so far is that the media tried to control the narrative, which proved Trump's point about the corruption of insider politics. Trying to control the remainder of the narrative is one of the best things the media can do for Trump. Go for it Salon and MSNBC. Give it your best shot.
As for what Bill Clinton did 30 years ago, what matters is what Hillary did 30 years ago. She was in charge of "Bimbo eruptions", she was in charge of "nuts or sluts", and she was in charge of "drag a hundred dollar bill through a trailer park . . ." At the time, it helped that even Clinton's wife was protecting him. After the blue dress, even Clinton supporters saw that Hillary was engaged in vicious character assassination against her husband's victims. Under today's even more punitive feminism, Hillary could pay a heavy price for her vicious abuse of Bill's victims.
I think Trump knew how he’s gonna beat Shrillary.
What Salon actually did was ask the media to falsify their reporting. To not report what Trump is saying.
Trump is playing multi-dimensional chess, and the rest of them are playing in their sandboxes. :)
But, it's perfectly fine for the NYT to LIE about Trump's girlfriend from 30 years ago. Got it.
