I congratulate Donald Trump on securing his place as the Republican Partys presumptive nominee. There is no doubt that he successfully tapped into the deep sense of anger and frustration so many Americans around the country rightfully feel today.
The tremendous anger of the current U.S. electorate whether Republican, Democrat or independent is a result of people fearful about the future, concerned with the direction of our country and tremendously frustrated by the abject failure and inability of leaders in Washington, D.C. to make anything better.
American voters have made it clear that Washington is broken, but Im not optimistic that either of the leading candidates for President will put us on a better course.
The American Presidency is an office that goes beyond just politics. It requires of its occupant great fortitude and humility and the temperament and strong character to deal with the unexpected challenges that will inevitably impact our nation in the next four years.
Donald Trump has not demonstrated that temperament or strength of character. He has not displayed a respect for the Constitution. And, he is not a consistent conservative. These are all reasons why I cannot support his candidacy.
Hillary Clinton has proven to be an untrustworthy liberal politician who, if elected, would present a third term of the disastrous foreign and economic policy agenda of Barack Obama.
In November, I will not vote for Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, but I will support principled conservatives at the state and federal levels, just as I have done my entire life. For Republicans, there is no greater priority than ensuring we keep control of both chambers of Congress.

Not only does he refuse to vote, he refuses to use toilet paper. And no one wants to sniff his fingers.
Guess what, Jeb! Donald Trump and Hitlery Clinton will not vote for you, either!
..........I guess Jebby is following in the footsteps of his “read my lips, no new taxes” Dad!
I do believe that there is nothing about government, big or small, that the Bush’s employed by government all their lives, don’t love.
Only George the Elder’s war record restrains me.
I’ve been wondering a bit lately about how Jebero’s family tree fits into the context of what Ike was trying to warn folks about...

Looks like 96% of the GOP primary voters has Jeb Bush sussed out completely correctly: a lying P.O.S.
He wants Clinton in office so he can make another $10 million from Pierson publishing for common core books.
I think we all recall the phony meme-building last year, when Trump was going to storm out and make a third party bid if he didn't get the nomination, and how at least one state wouldn't let him on the Pubbie ballot unless he signed a pledge to support the nominee? At that time (and to reiterate), Donald Trump's response should have been, "you first!"
Good endorsement for Trump.
Good also that the other bushie’s will non be “supporting” Trump either.
“Everybody I know who voted for Trump also worked on the McCain and Romney campaigns.”
Well that explains everything.
Yup. Trump is another RINO.
Why are you excited about another RINO?
He’s no different than they were except he’s pissed off large segments of the population who will not vote for him.
His fate will be no better.
It’s hard to believe Republican voters had no time for Bush.
I thought they all signed a pledge...and made a big deal about it because of Trump’s reluctance.
The pledge obviously means nothing and Jeb is forever out of politics so he can weasel and get no party punishment I suppose. He should have kept his mouth shut.
I voted for Cruz and am dismayed over prominent party members going public with their never Trump statements.
BEAT HILLARY!
Yes, a #NEVERTRUMP = #VOTE4HILLARY
As fieldmarshaldj has noted, we should make a priority to primary that little turd when he's up for re-election next time, BEFORE he has the opportunity to run for major office and become a LaThug Jr. or Udall cousins style headache.
The fact he promptly went AWOL from his job to campaign for daddy should make him vulnerable.
Hopefully, George P.= Viserys Targaryen (google it)
Never mind, Jebbie, what does George P. say?
Absolutely, and if the Bushes had courage, they would all switch parties; that way George P. could be the top Democrat in TX!
Remember how John B. Connally, Jr., was ridiculed in 1980 for spending I believe $11 million for one delegate, Mrs. Ada Mills of Clarksville, Arkansas.

Jeb, Donald’s position statements on the issues are more conservative than your own.
You are all in for the GOPe...and since you can’t have that, and it is the people themselves who are denying you of it...now you break your own pledge.
Fine...we already pretty much knew that about you which is why you spent $150 million establishment dollars to get a total of four delegates.
This election is going to boil down to establishment politics on both sides of the aisle, doing all they can individually and together...against the American people who will be backing Trump in the GOP.
