This needs to be added to the two new national polls (Morning Consult and Monkey poll) show the same 21 point lead for Trump

The rabid Cruz supporters could add a few rats to the
mix.
Might bring over some Dems to them, too.

I am enthusiastically for Trump and enthusiastically against Cruz.
So for me it is 50-50.

Is it better to have fewer but more enthusiastic supporters or to have more but less excited voters?
To: jmaroneps37
It’s amazing that talk radio and fox can get Count Copulot that high in the polls. I’m not buying it.
To: Electric Graffiti
I guess it all depends upon who you are asking. I see it both ways. I see a lot of TRUMPSTERS fired up. I see a lot CRUSADERS on fire. Such is politics, not so much on the Demo side...they MUST admit to this.
To: jmaroneps37
Then, we must have all the rabid Cruztians right here on FR.

well seeing as Trump has won twice as many states, got well over a more million votes, and is leading in delegates and the other two have no chance of getting the delegate count now before the convention.
yep I’d say now a vote for cruz is a vote for the establishment contested election.

Trump supporters know that he’s not a GOPe stooge. The longer the race goes on, the more obvious it becomes that Cruz is.

So 65% are fine with Trump
From the same link:
Note that those who are comfortable with Trump are just one-third of the party.
However, CBS backs up CNN by finding that Trump isnt unusually unpopular among Republican voters compared to Cruz, which would explain why Cruz hasnt surged despite the consolidation of the field lately. Just 17 percent of Republicans say theyd never support Trump; 19 percent say so of Cruz.

What is sad is that Cruz supporters can’t seem to connect the dots between Cruz and the establishment. He has been a Trojan Horse the entire time, just biding his time to spring his endorsements out there. Poppy Bush even helped him get the Solicitor General position in Texas. It’s sad to see so many naive, low information voters. But, hey, we got 2 terms of Obama from them, so it’s to be expected.
