Two debates tonight on CNBC live from the Coors Event Center at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
The 'kids table' started just after 6 p.m. EDT with Sen. Lindsey Graham (SC), Gov. Bobby Jindal (LA), former Gov. George Pataki (NY), and former Sen. Rick Santorum (PA).
The main event at 8 p.m. EDT will feature Donald Trump (NY), Dr. Ben Carson (Fl), Sen. Marco Rubio (FL), former Gov. Jeb Bush (FL), Carly Fiorina (CA), Sen. Ted Cruz (TX), former Gov. Mike Huckabee (AR), Gov. Chris Christie (NJ), Gov. John Kasich (OH), and Sen. Rand Paul (KY).
Moderators for both debates are: John Harwood, Carl Quintanilla, and Becky Quick.
Were Rand shrewd, he would have continued on what Ted Cruz was saying or throw it back to Cruz.
Rand misses it.
Idea for Trump: Set up a debate with conservative moderators. Get people with substance as mods, ie., Jim DeMint, for example. Live Stream it for free and offer it to networks or cable channels. Limit mods’ time to ask questions, no “statements” by mods allowed.
If money up front is needed to promote the event, offer to provide half, with other candidates, if they wish to participate, also contributing $$.
Others here should have ideas too... :-)
The moderators want to be sure that Hillary wins this debate.
