Here is my Massachusetts Freeper ping. It is a beautiful state like my CT, but just too Liberal for me!
Let’s see if more comments come from Freepers who live in Massachusetts. :)
If ANY Freeper wants to be removed from my ping list, please just let me know through FreepMail. Thanks! Jean in FL

ood how trumps numbers would be SO HIGH in Liberal Mass!? You should know, Reagan took Massachusetts twice. Independents outnumber Democrats and republicans combined here.

I lived in Massachusetts when Reagan won the state, twice.
Trump will carry MA, easily. Not just the primary, the general.

Being a Massachusetts native, let me splain it to you ...
Eastern Mass is chock full of Marxist - Boston et al ...
Central Mass - Worcester County - less so ...
Western Mass - Hampton and Hamden County, with the exception of those areas to the north (Amherst) and in the Berkshires (Pittsfield)- tends towards a more conservative (relatively) view.
Electorally, “Republicans” do better in the western counties, and the GOP has held the corner office at the State House more than a few times.
While a lot of Bay State voters tend towards liberal ideology in social issues, they are conservative in the economic issues - particularly when they are being shafted by illegal interlopers! Massachusetts used to have a thriving industrial sector: wire and textile mills, shoe factories, optics - but its all gone now, and mostly replaced by medical research labs, hi-tech and insurance companies. The tradesmen are the ones hurting the most, and they are POd at the illegal cheap laborers that have taken what few jobs remain. So yeah, even the liberal Massholes are now “in play.”

48, but a 6% Moe. It could be 42. Lol but it could also be 54. Game set match, at least in MA.

I agree with all that. I would also say that for decades, MA has been "hopelessly Liberal". There are a fair number of Conservatives in MA, but they mostly gave up years ago. They don't vote. They don't get involved. What's the point? Some guy named Kennedy is likely to win whatever race we're talking about, so why bother to go vote??
If the Conservatives in MA decide that they have a good reason to hit the polls, this state just might do something surprising.

Blanket overarching statement holds no water. Have you met every Reagan Democrat? have you met every Trump supporter? Hardly. But, please, do continue with your highbrow establishment bullsh*t - it keeps the rest of us entertained.

The party breakdown is Democrats, 36%, Republicans, 11%, Rainbow/green,1%; and unenrolled, 52%. Democrats have the obvious advantage over Republicans. RINO's don't motivate those who are unenrolled. Hence, you get Kennedys. Reagan won here. Should tell you something. Massachusetts Party Enrollment
To: LoneRangerMassachusetts
oh that Reagan would be able to run and win there again.
