A strong performance in last week’s Republican presidential debate has raised former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina’s public profile, but not nearly enough to cut into real estate mogul Donald Trump’s lead over the rest of the GOP field.
Trump takes 32 percent of the vote among self-identified Republicans and Republican-leaning independents, according to a new Morning Consult tracking poll — far ahead of retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson’s 12 percent and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush’s 11 percent.
Fiorina finishes in fourth position, at 6 percent, just ahead of Sens. Marco Rubio (Fla.) and Ted Cruz (Texas), who clock in with 5 percent each.

You are missing the point I am trying to make. Yes they turn out as being exactly what the pollsters may have said on some/many occasions, but IMO only because the masses heard these predictions weeks or months before, they accepted it by saying to themselves...oh so that`s how people are feeling ok, so they take that into their thought process
I believe the masses just take all this in like sheep, am only speaking of the masses not folks like you and I.
The media announce each and every one of these polls as if they are gospel.
The idea that people would think that they are not manipulated.
A good point is gay marriage,almost every state basically voted against gay marriage when they had the chance. After the courts allowed it we are supposed to believe that all those people that voted no are all of a sudden good with it.
The polls all of a suddfen started coming out that people have decided because its started, it`s now to late to turn back??? How fdo we know they felt that way, well the pollsters said so.
I am saying the pollsters in that case one at a time started saying this, I am saying it was made up out of thin air that people had changed their minds. The first poll was totally made up, it was like a big wink and the others followed suit, the masses all fell for it hook line and sinker
So now people believe that the majority is now fine with gay marriage, the masses were manipulated like sheep.

Honestly, I’m not sure this is accurate, but equally inaccurate are the polls showing here anywhere near Trump.

This can’t be. She cleaned Trump’s clock. She’s the most brilliant woman to ever walk the face of the earth. Trump wont register to run. Trump wont file his income. Won’t vow to not run third party. or something.
What about a Poll of Trump vs any of the Democrat candidates?

The more they try this, the more bound and determined I am to vote for Trump, even if I end up writing him in. I was a Cruz person, but the GOPe is turning me to the one that can beat them up - and the MSM - the best.

You may well be correct. Trump has never been a conservative but maybe we can stomach him because he may have a shot at saving the country.
You can have push and opinion polls that can be shaped by the questions asked. The major polls that measure how people will vote have been generally very accurate. They are not fabricated nor do they influence how most voters will vote. That is where we disagree.
I think your right. He is about to be the most talented smartest guy with an incredible command of the issues ready to go on day one. Until that plan fizzles ... We want a candidate who we are sure loves this nation as it is under attack from all sides. Rubio had his chance to be a fighter and he choose to “come together with our friends from across the aisle” and work with people who are the enemy of the middle class.
