Allee Bautsch, chief campaign fundraiser for Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, and her boyfriend Joe Brown, were savagely beaten Friday night in New Orleans after leaving a Republican party fundraising dinner by a group of thugs who reportedly targeted the couple because they were wearing Sarah Palin pins.
Bautch's leg was broken and Brown incurred a broken jaw and nose as well as a concussion.
The Hayride reports that a source who visited Bautsch at the hospital the day after the attack says they were told the couple was attacked for wearing Palin buttons:
Two people at the Brennan’s event have now confirmed that the protest had largely broken up by the time it ended, but we also understand from someone who visited Allee Bautsch in the hospital Saturday morning that she and Brown were followed and attacked expressly because they had Palin pins on (she heard one of the attackers say “Let’s get them, they have Palin pins on” – so the attack WAS politically motivated as its victims understood it. It was not a mugging, it was not an argument gone wrong and it was not a bar fight.
The story of a Republican and her boyfriend being viciously attacked for wearing Palin buttons has yet to make national headlines, unlike say, unfounded rumors of nasty words being said by Tea Party protesters.
I even carry in church.
Ditto - bothered my pastors at first (I told them as a security measure - “come find me if you need me”), but I reminded them of the increase in church shootings and they don’t even mention it anymore.

Chavez’ bolivarians are street thugs, civilians recruited from the slums to do what normal cops or security people won’t do.
Its not uncommon for Chavez’ opponents to be mugged on the streets and sometimes killed during the mugging. Its written off as street crime because street crime is so pervasive anyway. This includes political people as well as reporters.
I mention this because O is cut from similar cloth.
Interesting that it’s The Left. Wonderin’ why they are called “The Left instead of “The Wrong”? The right are correctly called “The Right”.
The one thing we can always count on “The Left” to do is to screw everything up.

I have yet to see any descriptions of the perps. My only fear is this may turn out to be like the chick who claimed Obama people cut her face, then admitted she faked the attack.

If this is verified as true, and if the folks who did this can be identified, then it would be appropriate to find them and beat the living sh— out them. A serious beating that may result in injuries that are incompatible with life.
I use Federal 230Gr +P Hydro Shock in my 45 ACP. That should take them off their feet if needed!
LOL...okay, I don’t mean to laugh because this is a serious subject, but you aren’t suggesting it was a domestic dispute, where he broke her leg, she broke his jaw, and they made up the whole story to cover up the altercation, are you?
I doubt that she faked a broken leg. She’s already has surgery.

I never cross the state line without protection. I also suggest that people willing to use hand defense, check out some of these videos. Don't back down to thugs, take it to them with force.

We’re all Sheepdogs, Colonel sir. Only OUR hair doesn’t cover our eyes...and we see very, very clearly. To the continuing detriment of those inclined towards nefarious behavior.
