Let's face it FRiends, if the unconstitutional healthcare bill passes, the socialist coup d'etat will have advanced well beyond the point of no return!
There is nothing in the constitution that authorizes this illegal federal power-grab and plenty that forbids it. If the Obama/Reid/Pelosi Marxist attempted coup pulls this off without the people resisting to the hilt, then they'll have no restrictions whatsoever on implementing the rest of their Liberty killing Marxist agenda. America will be no more.
The whole idea of our constitution is to severely restrict the federal government to only its dozen and a half expressly listed enumerated powers and to guarantee and protect our unalienable individual rights as well as our sovereign states rights and republican form of government.
The constitution has not failed, the people have. When the government will not willingly restrain itself within its legal bounds, then its the duty of the people to enforce the constitution and restrain the government.
The constitution does not define our rights, it defines the limits on government. Our rights are granted by God not government, and government cannot take them away. Our government was established by and for us and was granted by us certain limited powers and only those limited powers. Our government serves at our pleasure to defend our nation and our rights. It does not RULE over us.
Obama is not a dictator. Reid, Pelosi, et al, are not our rulers. When they overstep their bounds to the degree they have, then they MUST be brought back down to reality.
It's time to jerk their constitutional chains taut!
It's time for US to enforce our Constitution and invoke our Bill of Rights!!
It's time to assemble for duty, for Liberty!!
Then they will do what every socialist serf does—suck-up.
Having the power to force the public, under pain of death,to kiss ones butt is the ultimate orgasm of the socialist.
Call it ego gone evil.
You are going to take all the fun out of our armchair revolution if you insist upon pointing out the only actual approach that will work.
The percentage of people that are willing to “starve the beast” is a fraction of a fraction of a percent. Even less are willing to sacrifice anything more.
99.99999% of the people “outraged” about this matter will file and pay whatever is required and keep feeding the beast. Then they will come here and be outraged some more and do it all again next year.
It’s over. There is no revolution. We all bow before the leviathan and we get what we deserve.

President Bill Clinton is impeached by the House of Representatives on charges of lying under oath and obstructing justice.

This is what it will take. If we are not all able or willing to march on the capitol and cause civil disobedience then perhaps a better way is a nationwide strike. They plan on reducing us to the unemployment roles anyway.
I've been a pretty big supporter of Sarah Palin on this forum (check my posting history if you don't believe me). But I haven't seen ANYONE on our side really take a stand. Read my last post to get an idea of what I'm talking about. I'm not trying to trash Sarah (she's not even an elected official right now and she has no "technical" obligation to do anything), but if she wants to truly be up on the pedestal that some Freepers have put her upon, now is the time for her to make a bold stand. If she, or any of the rest of the establishment politicians won't, then we will know that they value their careers, perks, and comforts over liberty.
The anger and passion in the people have been stirred up, but we have no focal point and no direction. If we had a leader on the national level to point us in the right direction and unleash us, things would be a lot different. I'm not saying we need to follow a leader like cattle, but we need someone to rally us. We all feel like we are alone and can't fight this battle by ourselves. A leader can pull us together and give us strength to fight. I believe we have our Thomas Paines of our times, but where our George Washingtons?
btw.....what are you willing to do????
FREEDOM !!!!!!
Hmmm...Where have I heard that homily lately?
Oh yeah....obamao on:
I don’t think you truly understood step 4.
Well said. I don’t suffer the party hacks any more.
Read your history. What was one of the first things that Hezbollah took over in Lebanon? The hospitals. What was one of the first things that the Sadrists tried (but ultimately failed) to take over in Iraq? The hospitals.
See a pattern?
Woe is us!...Woe is us!....What shall we do now!
My husband and I have been discussing this for some time. We are no longer young. Obama plans to kill us off anyway so what are we waiting for? Without a strong leader, someone has to be first, someone has to make a move. I prefer we attempt a nationwide work strike first, if people are unwilling to do that then a few brave folks will have to find another way to stop the madness. We've lived long enough to have seen other brave souls in other countries attempt to gain their freedom, Tiananmen square, Poland, etc. Duty, Honor, Country.
“I dont care if my career is over, Im going to go down fighting this!”
That’s the problem, it’s a career instead of a service. I don’t like career politicians of any stripe.
Don't leave without a good opus. Start a new thread and tell us what you really think. That's the best thing for all concerned.
Be sure to post it under "Breaking News." Thanks.
Your post proved my point.
I have been in the streets many times Countering the Code Pinkos, Pro Hamas and others face to face.
I would be with the Protes Warriors and only a few FReepers out of around 150 or more here would show up.
Most FReepers are keyboard comandos
BTTT
So, where do we go from here, fearless leader?
It’s against the law for me to answer that question.
