Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.

As far as I having the blood of Terri on my hands...I don't think so.

I am not in a position of authority, and I would be cut down by bullets trying to save her...an effort in futility leaving my 3 kids without a mother.

Her father said that “she is fighting like hell to stay alive and I want the powers that be to know that. Anyone that has the authority to come in and to save Terri, they can do it. It’s not too late. She’s fighting and we’re asking you to fight with her”.

I do think Greer is in contempt of congress myself, although it would have to go to court to get the supoenas enforced, and there is some concept that they might be on technically shaky ground that would cause yet another constitutional crisis...

I think Judge Greer is not only in contempt of Congress, but he is also obstructing an investigation of Congress, which is a felony.

And his ruling denying her religious rights should be actionable also because there is simply nothing under the heavens and above hell that grants him that power.

No prisoner of any state in these United States facing execution has ever, as far as I am aware, been denied spiritual comfort. For Judge Greer to strip this inalienable right away just shows the depraved depths that his actions have sunk.
