Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
Sent Jeb yet ANOTHER e-mail.
Gov. Bush, there is no more time for reflection!
I hope everyone is contacting the president too. Either one of these men could take action under the Constitution.
Ok, so even Ms. Faraj admits Terri is a "emergency" case, but for some reason they are still going to go against state law and not investigate. Bottom line for Jeb is if there are no calls then his polsters can ignore Terri, so he's off the hook.
If through due process it was determined that Mrs. Schiavo wanted pointless maintenance of her body in such a state, then I would be with you....but due process showed that she was NOT in favor of it. I am not in favor of slecting parental authority over spousal, either, though this is really a matter of the court decisions, not the guardianship.
Terri would not have done so either.
You have me at a disadvantage. I have never met the woman and didn't know her prior to her collapse. I couldn't say any better than Mr. Schiavo what she would have done or not done. I know that some of my preferences are not currently legal (e.g., I'd rather have a big shot of morphine than to have people wait for me to dessicate), so you can't judge them based on current law.
I find it fascinating that you can speak to her preferences and have her on a first-name basis. Did you talk with her about irrecoverable states and end care, or are you just interpreting this from knowing her?
has anyone got through with a FAX to Governor Bush? It just either rings and rings or is busy!!

An All-Writs Petition to the Florida Supreme Court will be filed by David Gibbs on behalf of Bob and Mary Schindler this afternoon. This is an appeal of today's decision by Judge Greer.

Gentle nudge: Don't feed the trolls!
So we can devote this thread to updates on Terri and also prayers.
What I'm doing right now is scanning to see who's submitting a post and if it's a troll - I'm totally bypassing their post and going to others.
"So DCF isn't going to do anything about the complaints? That in itself is against the law. MG! Greer has everyone cowering. What does that devil have on everyone? Something is very, very wrong and too many people are trying to cya. There's something bigger (wrong word but you understand) than Terri here. There will be very dark days ahead for the citizens of America and our government."
I couldn't have said it better myself...you are so right!
I have 3 words for Jeb Bush....
Grow a spine...
Emergency calls to the hotline? And? Evidently the agency investigating is paralyzed unless they get Greers blessing....and he's fresh out of those.
Amen!
Amen. There is a larger picture to be seen. The Lord is looking at it. I pray that He reveals it to each of us as we trust and obey.
Greer denied because of them waiting 5 days to file the new evidence....this is BS. It's ok if MS waited 7 years to tell his lies, that was accepted as fact...BS!
I should have written it, "How can they look themselves in the mirror."
Sorry about that.
I agree....people that get kicks out of making fun of a dying woman should not be responded to. It only heightens their pleasure.
Don't feed the trolls....feed Terri
"Sent Jeb yet ANOTHER e-mail.

For sure!!
P.S. to All: If anyone has Jeb Bush fax, please post.
I agree. I really am wondering if God's purpose in all of this is to reveal to us what is going on so we don't continue to hide our heads in the sand. There's one thing I'm sure of: God has promised to bring good out of this and His purposes will ultimately prevail.

Wow. It's absolutely incredible watching the godly perseverence of the Schindlers and contrasting it with the apathy of the governor.
I'm concerned Mrs. Schindler may collapse from exhaustion with all this.....
Dear Lord, I pray with all my heart that you continue to strengthen this precious family who have set such a fine example of fortitude for the rest of us. Fill them mightily with your Spirit, Lord. And dear Father, please prick the hearts of the Bush brothers.....bring them to repentance before you so they can glorify You through their actions in coming to Terri's rescue. Dear Father, be with all of us here - all Christians and others around this country - watching this horror play out. Move the hearts of the secular-minded to realize how precious life is and to come to you, Lord. Provide your miraculous comforting to Terri in her horrible distress and agony. We plead before You, O Lord, the Most High Judge of all. In Christ's merciful name. Amen.
People who have not yet done so, read the headline article at World Net Daily today(www.worldnetdaily.com---I can't do links, sorry!)
Headline: "Political Corruption Fueling Terri's Case?"
Something very fraudulent, sinister, criminal? is putting a stop to any pro-Terri/Schindler decisions.
What does Gov. Bush know that we don't?!
