This American Hero is doing a great job! Go Swift Boat Veterans for Truth!
Am I missing something? The way I understand it, the NG required that Bush complete 50 units of service for the year in question. He completed 56. Shouldn't that be the end of it? Doesn't that prove that he not only met, but surpassed his required service? If so, I wonder why Bush's defenders on the R side don't drive that home when the subject comes up. (other than the fact that they always seem to miss the obvious defense moves)
Absolutely, and that's my take exactly.
I see the MSM getting dandruff from all the head-scratching while trying to figure out how to keep the damaged goods from looking so ... damaged, how to put Humpty Dumpty back together again through election day.
bttt
Thank you for compressing and posting the O'Neill interview on Hannity and Colmes. I just watched the O'Neill part -- haven't seen a mention on the thread yet that five groups are suing the Swift Boat Vets.
Makes me wish O'Neill had set aside the profits for legal defense fees rather than donating it to Navy and Marine relief. I hope a bunch of conservatives step forward to foot their legal bills.
The facts of Bush's National Guard service have absolutely nothing to do with the campaign as the dems define it.
They spasmodically regurgitate false allegations about it in the "repeat a lie often enough and the people will believe it" vein. We should sue them for their obvious connection to the oil industry because they sure do make a pretty penny out of retreads.
The problem is that the pubbies choose not to slog it out in the trenches over stuff like this.
Just saw Jeh on Fox and Friends. Looks like the Kerry camp has finally come up with a story to explain away Christmas in Cambodia.
Here's how it goes: Kerry has corrected the record about Christmas. He was not in Cambodia on Christmas eve of '68, but he was there on some subsequent date. He got his dates mixed up.
Thanks for the ping!
What dates? It's kind of hard for Kerry to explain the "Sugar Plum Fairy" dancing in his head. Kerry's head must be really spinning to come up with this "explanation".
Why do I NOT find this very hard to believe??............lol;^)
Actually, Hanoi Jane is living quite well on her lovely ranch in NM. No hovel for her.
Quite the little commie, isn't she?
Only the peons should live under the yoke of communism, not her ilk.
I think that's it in a nutshell.
I saw the show - it was an awesome interview!
Now Amazon.com is only listing Freepr Corsi as the author for "Unfit For Command."
I'm positive that that isn't an aciident.
The file is called a DD214, not 201.
Yeah, I'd be surprised if the Clintons did not obtain a copy long ago.
Semper Fi!
I just replied to your comment on the other thread about that. No, doubtful that it's an accident.
Yup-- no accident.
Limbaugh just blew it. He let an obvious seminar caller monopolize the conversation and spread misinformation.
The SC kept on saying that Kerry saved Rassman's life and that the other Swifties were sitting there passively as Kerry played hero.
The truth is that Rassman's life was in peril only because of Kerry. After Swift Boat 3 (not Kerry's boat) hit a mine, Kerry fled the scene causing Rassman to fall overboard. Meanwhile, the other OICs, Thurlow and Chenoweth were the real heroes: saving the wounded on boat three and shooting suppression fire in case there were enemies around--which there weren't.
Kerry only returned to the scene after Thurlow and the rest had determined that there were no enemies around and stabilized the situation. When Kerry picked Rassman out of the water, there were other boats closing in to do the very same thing.
This is a case of Kerry again inflating his service and demeaning the service of others. This is another Kerry lie-- Rassman has got to be getting paid off. This is madness. Rush blew it.
