Such memories of them waving from Air Force One... tears...

Why have we lost this spirit in America?

Will we ever see a real American President again?

Nancy deserves an award for holding up so well. At 82 years of age, she's held up remarkably well.

God bless her.

I think it is Georgie Ann Geyer and I listened to just a bit and said to myself "I don't need this" and moved to Fox and CSPAN if even Fox gets too much. Needless to say, I agree with your sentiments. Chris Matthews' running train of thought that proceeds out of his mouth is so silly and shallow and more often than not wrong. The only thing he has been right about is Nancy realizing that America loved her husband and admire and respect her.

I'm not watching FOX now, as I'm taping it for later viewing, but I'm astonished at how hateful the MSNBC coverage is. When CNN is fair and respectful by comparison, you know that things are bad.

TRUE!

And, a bit radical perhaps here, and I wouldn't want to teach it as a doctrine. . . . but

God said those who seek Him will find Him. Perhaps even at the point of death some will be given an opportunity to accept Christ. NOT something one should count on by a million miles.

AND

There's the Scripture about what we forgive on earth will be forgiven in Heaven--something to that effect. So, In such situations, I certainly proclaim forgiveness over such people and Ask God to give them every opportunity repeatedly to accept Christ as their Savior.

And, I know from God's character and values, He's looking for Biblical reasons to save people, not excuses to damn them.

Nancy has been regal.
I'm certain she knows "her Ronnie" is with her.

Brit Hume's voice has been a soothing part of this day..They did well today..no comment when comments would be intrusive...

I can't shake the feeling, that the sky is crying today...

The hot weather for the laying in State, and so many, many people bearing the oppressive heat and humidity to pay thier respects to President Reagan. A tribute in itself.

Then a cool, rainy, comfortable day for the State Funeral.

And when he leaves to go to his final rest, the tears of millions are joined by tears from above.

Apparently so! And just chalking it up to all the new information that's just coming out. That doesn't explain the hundreds of thousands who filed past his casket, the millions tuned in today, the wonderful words spoken prior to today.....etc.

Yes, I really liked that part, also.

Apparently, some, if not all, of the private services will be televised. Chris Wallace is covering it for Fox and I doubt they would have sent him if it wasn't going to be covered.

I think she has a strong faith. Just not so strong and outspoken on the pro-life issues that President Reagan was.

CBS Webcam jumped to a soap opera.

Their webcam coverage has been pathetic today, compared to earlier in the week.

Now, back to Andrews AFB.

All the soldiers who took part seemed to do a great job--I'm not in the military so guess I don't know if they screwed up, but looked great to me. Very touching,a nd they all looked honored to take part in the services in some way. I thought the same thing about their arms getting tired!

Nancy and Maggie have my admiration for doing such, both being frail.

I am surprised that Drudge has put up a picture of Kerry laughing at the funeral. Drudge seems to have moved closer to the left these days.

CBS had a split screen of a photo of President Reagan and Nancy waving with the live shot of Nancy waving goodbye...a nice touch.

No one is present at the actual lowering of the body into the grave, anyway.

I wondered if it was to be a grave or a mausoleum. So, it is to be a grave.
