All the soldiers who took part seemed to do a great job--I'm not in the military so guess I don't know if they screwed up, but looked great to me. Very touching,a nd they all looked honored to take part in the services in some way. I thought the same thing about their arms getting tired!

I believe that all over America, little boys, and maybe a few little girls were looking at the soldiers wonderful precision performance in the pomp and circumstance.and wishing that they would soon be old enough to be a soldier in the honor guard also. So inspirational.so majestic,so military formal, and so COOL.

"...they all looked honored to take part in the services in some way. I thought the same thing about their arms getting tired!"...

That, and the heat this week, and the flights of steps...!

I'm really curious about this Major General (I think?) that has escorted Nancy all week, and been such a "right-hand-man" for her through all of this...was he selected by the military, or by the family, the Secret Service, or ??? Maybe he was the first to be assigned the duty, and she just wanted to keep the same person with her after that? Just wondering...he's been wonderful, too.
