I think he may have put it there to reinforce the negative image of the rats and their insensitivity to the passing of President Reagan. Matt's on OUR side. I hope.
I was gone a while; did Kerry really laugh? What at? When? I didn't think he was there. Good grief, that side of the aisle is getting worse by the minute.

I haven't seen the photo, but my impression would be not that Drudge moved to the left, but the photo itself is an implied criticism of Kerry's conduct.
