Leading Republican candidate for the White House Donald Trump hasn’t officially begun scouting running mates – the first primary is still six months away.
Two of his 2016 competitors come to mind for the position, however: Ben Carson and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX).
Trump’s campaign said he has ‘cordial’ relationships with both men based on ‘mutual respect.’
An ex-aide to Trump, Roger Stone, was also seen meeting with Carson’s campaign chief Jake Menges yesterday in New York. Stone says he did not set up the meeting at the behest of Trump, however.
Stone told DailyMail.com that he believes in ‘citizen action’ and met with Menges of his own volition because he thinks Carson would be a good fit on a Trump ticket.
He stressed that the meet-up was ‘not authorized’ by Trump and he no longer works for the real estate mogul...

Seventh Day Adventist. They are actually quite similar and from the same background as Mormons. I have been working with ex-SDAs in my ministry quite a bit the past year and doing some apologetics.
Is the SDA considered a cult? From what I understand, they still uphold the trinity and sola fide, although they seem to lean on the legalistic end. They err on the eternal nature of hell and have extrabiblical doctrine through their “prophet,” but, otherwise, I am not aware of any damning doctrines of theirs.
actually, once elected, the VP is the most useless elected official on the ballot. Cruz would be much more valuable as Senate majority leader or any cabinet head.

Can you plz explain that? Is he a Mormon? The last Mormon caused about 10 million Evangelicals to stay home on Election Day.

Ted Cruz would be most beneficial to the country as a justice on SCOTUS. 35-40 years!

I'm afraid it doesn't work that way, not from what I've ever seen. My point is that I think Carson is thought of as Black more than Cruz is thought of as Hispanic, because of skin color and ethnic traits. I don't agree with that tendency at all (its stupid), but believe it to be true based on much of the dialog I read on-line.
