Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina and Democratic front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton will cross paths Wednesday in South Carolina. And the Republican the only woman among the vast GOP field will try to show up Clinton by holding a regular old press conference
Carly Fiorina is speaking in downtown Columbia, SC on Wednesday. And guess what? So is Hillary Clinton, Fiorina spokeswoman Sarah I. Flores wrote in an e-mail Tuesday.
Clinton will be inside the Columbia hotel shortly thereafter, holding another in her series of campaign roundtables.
Our events tomorrow are all open to the press. And by open press, we mean well actually take questions, Flores wrote.

Fiorina is doing a good job positioning herself as a possible VP choice. I don’t think she’ll seriously compete for the actual nomination (but this field is wide open enough that you can never say never, I suppose), but she’s auditioning for the role of “attack dog” quite well, and she does the other candidates a strong favor by attacking Hillary without getting the “anti-woman” label (credibly) thrown at her.
All Carly is doing is pointing out Hillary’s huge flaws as a candidate. I think it’s called “free speech”.
Which side are you really pulling for?
Hey Rummy, I read up on this a bit more, and it looks like there were initial jobs eliminated before the Compaq acquisition, and then more after. Just wanted to clear that up. I think that there are definitely mixed feelings about her in the business world. Some of that, in my opinion, seems to be coming from under the surface from people who likely have bones to pick over decisions that may have affected them personally. Sort of like asking people from one of those companies that Romney’s company tried to save (and failed) what they thought of his leadership. Of course they’re going to say “he eliminated my job.”
But she did REAL work. I’ll take that over a do-nothing witch living off the taxpayers like Hillary Clinton any day of the week.
If our govt is cleaned up and the size cut as substantially as needs to be done, the unemployed govt workers will condemn and rebel against the administration that has the guts to do it. We need strong individuals to be elected in 2016 who can withstand the attacks against them for doing what needs to be done to restore this Republic.
“Strong Individuals” are direly needed in 2016.
That eliminates Santorum, Huckabee, Kasich, and Bush, who all will be weak in reducing government size and spending.
I am loving the Fiorina attack tour. She might be a good VP candidate.
Oh man, can you even imagine if Carly Fiorina is on the VP slot...a real mud fight with Fiorina doing all the damage. Hillary is no match for the honed speech delivery of Fiorina after years of practice in corporate boards and executive meetings where she prevailed over tough male counterparts!
First of all, I would appreciate it if you’d refrain from playing the ‘gender card’. I do not entertain the phony ‘war on women’ nonsense.
I’m talking about Carly nearly destroying a once great company, not about a few disgruntled employees who got axed. Her deficiencies (at least at HPQ) span far and wide. You may be of a different opinion, but I assure you there are scores of mid-level management and engineers who differ with your take.
But don’t worry, for if CF’s campaign takes off, you can bet the Dems will have the minutes of stockholders meetings and people in line who will talk.
Finally, let’s see if Carly can take the heat that Sarah Palin had to endure. Let’s see if the GOPe will back Carly or leave her twisting in the wind like they did to Sarah.
HP’s printers still suck (a lot of ink)
Although the Officejet 6100 isn’t too bad I gotta admit. It at least consistently prints a good page without streaks, unlike numerous HP printers I’ve owned in the past that would, no matter how many times you “aligned” the d****d print heads!
I kinda blew her off when she first announced, but, at the rate she’s going, she won’t be the nominee, but she would make a helluva VP candidate on the GOP Ticket.
GIVE ‘EM HELL CARLY!!!
Hillary has been known to lose her cool and get “cussin’ mad” like the time she called one of Bill’s campaign workers a “Jew bastard”. I can’t wait until Carly really gets under her skin and she calls her “that Dago bitch”. Get the popcorn ready.
I’m of Italian descent and I would die laughing lol and hope it happens
You have a problem with someone who has the balls to call out a Clinton on their hypocrisy, lies, crimes and deceit? What the hell is wrong with you? You must be a wimp or a pussy; or both. Eff off!
I am using a HP Deskjet 1000 printer for 3 or 4 years, and it runs like a clock. Much better than the Cannon printer I had before. I buy ink and refill cartridges 10-12 times before discarding them. The ink is very cheap compared to new cartridges. Even the HP software interface is more user friendly. The Canon printer gave me a hard time each time I removed the cartridge to refill will ink. It pushed me hard to buy a new cartridge, saying my re-filled cartridge was defective. The HP printer never has done that. It amazes me how many times the cartridge can be re-filled with ink, and it works like new.
I’ve got to hand it to Fiorina. Great move.
The MSM is playing the war on women card. Not me. I report, you decide. I have one daughter in law school and he other soon to be in medical school. Both are smart as a whip. I am convinced women are just as smart as men.
If Fiorina wins nomination (Extremely unlikely) I would give half of my social security check to watch the one on one debate between Hillary & Carly.
I must apologize to you. And to Carly Fiorina.
Upon further reflection, it serves no useful purpose to bring up things that happened a decade or more ago and that, frankly, I very well may not have all the relevant information anyway.
In the past I have strongly supported Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann when I thought they may be a viable candidate for President/VP. Did either of them lead a perfect life prior to the election? I think not.
We’re on the same side and unless Ms. Fiorina shows me otherwise, I will assume she has our best interests, and by extension America’s best interests at heart.
We need our country back and we need it back now. Whomever can move us in that direction, in whatever way they can, I will support.
Much appreciated. I am still undecided whom I will vote for. But I am liking how Fiorina is conducting her campaign and targeting her fire at Hillary instead of other candidates. Other candidates should take notes.
