Sadly, our once beautiful state has so many pretend conservative voters like yourself that play "French" in elections instead of voting their convictions. If the "conservatives" I've spoken with are an accurate representation of the state wide attitude, then this wimpy chicken type of voting is what keeps the socialist agenda going full steam. Just what do you and your pals think you are accomplishing with your posts to me. I'll give you credit for not being stupid enough to think that you can change my mind. So what is it that you hope to accomplish?

Unless you have better excuse, I am chalking it up to school yard bully behavior. Let's all gang up on the guy that does agree with us and throw things at him. The was a whole book, "The Lord of the Flies," written about this sort of behavior.

In any case, you should take a look at your actions. You are certainly not helping your guy. One can judge a leader by his followers. Most of you McClintock followers are not doing him any favors. You have, in fact, greatly lowered my opinion of him.

At the start of this campaign, I said that if McClintock looked like he could be a winner, I would happily vote for him. I am still holding to that philosophy because I do want to help, not harm, the GOP. I would not, however, be happy about casting that vote.

Fortunetly, I will not be faced with the choice. The majority of you McClintock followers have clearly defined just who he is and the voters do not like what they see.

What we are trying to accomplish is to get a logical reason from you for supporting a liberal and berating a true conservative, while representing yourself as a conservative.

I don't see any real conservative values coming from Arnold(and your camp has failed to present them in this thread)yet you and many others, appearantly, will accept that he is the Republican with the best chance to win, calling the true conservative candidate a "spoiler". He isn't even a wolf in sheeps clothes, clearly stating his liberal agenda, and you bite.

You jump at us like you have some high ground to stand on supporting the front runner. If you and so many others are truly consevatives, you have sold out. If the truth as we see it makes you sick, it's OK, you can remain in denial and keep your lunch. Just don't jump on another pro-2A thread and expect anything other than the renewal of your victimhood.
