This, and future threads, will attempt to answer some of your questions and requests regarding HEALTHY food in general, and LOW CARB, LOW CALORIE diets and recipes in particular. With my background as a Master Chef, and Natural Foods Sexonutritionist, aka SexyChef (/dreamer) Bwhahaahahahahah, it affords me a wonderful vantage point to assist in creating this forum, where everyone can contribute, exchange ideas and voice their valuable opinions. Moderating in no way qualifies me as an authority on this, or any other subject.*..heheheh ..that has never inhibited me before.. blush

There are many other FReepers, (you know who you are.. LOL) on this amazing site that have a great deal more detailed knowledge and information on specific topics, that will no doubt emerge. Sooooooo, lets get started..

Isn't it funny how this diet has traveled everywhere on the planet, with few if any major problems reported. If problems do crop up it is usually because folks had a preexisting condition, or the diet triggered an episode that brought out a serious problem.
There are people in very small percentages that are subject to wierd reactions to the least suspected things. I had a friend that would react to ionized salt.. go figure!
Yes, indeedy. Use a vegetable peeler to make nice strips of zucchini or squash. These can be used to layer the lasagna ingredients and are very tasty.
I've added your name to the roll, now breath deep Rose.. That air is rarefied, and inclusion must be earned.. If in fact you are judged by the company you keep in life, if so, this gathering of honest misfits is a start, and nothing to be ashamed of, and we welcomes you.
But..., and this is a big butt, only as long as you occasionally fall off the wagon, there are no saints among these sinners Rose in RoseBear ... grab a chair and hold on, it's a bumpy ride. .think she caght the BIG BUTT thingy ...LOL....:o)
There is a place in France where the naked ladies dance, and there is a salad in France that makes dancing ladies get naked. Youd think there would be a lady in France that dances naked on a salad, but there isnt.
8 bite size new potatoes
a few anchovies
fresh parsley
handful of Greek olives
6 quail eggs
handful of tiny yellow and red miniature tomatoes
handful of green beans
spoon of balsamic vinegar
spoon of olive oil
a small tuna steak
Boil potatoes in salted water until soft and edible, about 10 minutes.
Hard boil quail eggs by putting in already boiling water. Turn off heat immediately and let sit until the water is cool enough to put in your hand. This is to insure that no stinky green crud forms around the yolk. Remove them from the water and peel.
In a pan, sear your tuna, then cook on medium high for a few minutes until it is cooked all the way through. Cool and slice into strips or small chunks.
Circumcise the green beans and boil for a few minutes to blanch, but not too much or they will turn a dull color. Mix all ingredients to make a salad. Chill if you want, or serve while the potatoes are still warm.
Serves 2 or as many as you want if you use more ingredients.
Enjoy
Fabulous recipe, and a wonderful travel tip...thanks for both... *<]8^)~
He makes dinner a couple times a week and last week he made fish. I'm not big on fish, but it was real good. He used talapia filets and put a little brown mustand on them and then encrusted them with crushed pistachios, parmigian cheese, and fresh basil from the garden. Yum yum!
Would someone let me know what post had the fudge?? I haven't gotten through all 700 posts and I REALLY need that one! ;-)
Cut into 16 pieces - 2.5 carbs per piece.
