First Quarter '03 FReepathon Now Underway .. Thread 4
.... ...
The Free Republic first quarter '03 FReepathon is now underway!
Our goal for this fundraiser is the same as last quarter: $65,000. We have about $4,000 per month coming in from monthly donors so we will need to raise approx $53,000 to hit the target.
The funds raised through these fundraisers are used to pay our operating costs. Free Republic operates on an approximate $260,000 annual budget (breakdown here) and all funds are provided by donations from FReepers and Lurkers.
Thank you all very much for your continued support.
P.S. We are planning to make FreeRepublic.com email addresses available as a thank you to all who donate at least once per year. This new feature should be ready to go within a few days. We will post a notice and a link for donors to setup their FR email address as soon as it's ready.
Donate to FR and help us keep the lights on for the best political forum on the NET!

If you were in Panama, you would be in 90-degree weather. Actually, it´s not very comfy, but everything is air conditioned. I prefer a little heat than a lot of cold.

A mango tree lawyer is someone like Greg Craig (the lawyer who sold out Elian Gonzalez to Castro). A mango tree lawyer is a shyster who sits under a mango tree near a government building and steals innocent peoples money promising to solve their problems (which they dont). They are the scourge of the earth here in Panama. They are worse than pond scum, and Craig is a version of this type of pond scum. Every time I think about it I get angry all over again.
To: chnsmok
No,They are on a bus and when the bus stops,Eagle fans will great them.Must be the hotel, local news is just over so will not see anything else on it till 10 PM Fox.It is really cold here and the town is pumped up for this game.Go Eagles Go.

"If you were in Panama, you would be in 90-degree weather. Actually, it´s not very comfy, but everything is air conditioned. I prefer a little heat than a lot of cold"I prefer heat to cold too. Unfortunately, this isn't the area to live in if you don't like the cold ( I love snow...hate the cold, LOL ) especially since that nasty global warming and terrible El Nino have made for such a warm winter in the Northern US (according to NOAA)
