For the first time, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has criticized former President Donald Trump for refusing to concede power following the 2020 election – in a generalized comment referencing events more than 200 years ago.
DeSantis, who condemned rioters inside the Capitol where he once served, but has said little about Trump's push to have courts and allies toss out the results, made remarks during an interview with Piers Morgan, where he also blasted Trump administration chaos.

I held DeSantis in highest esteem.
He was doing a fantastic job as governor of Florida, very impressive.
But with his instant foreign policy backtracking, and easy mocking of Trump’s legal predicament, I suddenly lost all enthusiasm. He should have kept quiet
And this is why I’m sad. If only Trump would be like Reagan, he would be perfect, but he is too proud and scattershot. Can you imagine if he had been 100 percent focused during his term?

+1
That’s the Truth
Man...he hired the former Cruz “scumbag” fundraiser and it was like he flipped a switch on Ron! 36 hours of constant attacks. He even called Putin a “war criminal” today (there’s the fundraising for ya...Jeb is pleased)
George would have taken his army into the hallowed halls and wrested authority from the criminals who stole the election. THAT is what George the Founding Father would have done. The rest of the Founding Fathers would have been right there with him.
And then China declared war on us with the help of the Deep State and erased it. In one blow. Evil bastards.
This is exactly why I haven’t been supporting Ron, but
trying not to run folks into his camp reflexively.
I am pretty certain Ron is a “Skull and Bones” member.
I checked months ago and I’m sure I read it. Now I
can’t find it, so I’ll mention it but not say for certain.
I was also interested how he came back from Iraq
and quickly wound up in a group that wreaked of
connections. Once again, significant or not.
Then the lack of criticism by the RNC/GOPe was
deafening. The media didn’t trounce him, and
the usual suspects here started to talk about
Trump tweets and how Ron was so much better.
I had to go with too many coincidences.
Sorry Ron
My litmus test for a politician is whether they look like they are seeking office more for themselves, or so that they can actually serve and improve the country. Until recently, I held DeSantis in nearly as high regard as I do Trump, but not anymore. It’s becoming crystal clear now that as was reported, DeSantis has the RINO establishment backing him and whispering in his ear, and he seems more gleeful by the day in spouting the RINO party line about various issues, especially anywhere that Trump is involved.
We were all shocked at first when Trump seemed to start attacking DeSantis for no apparent reason recently, or some chalked it up to Trump’s ego running amuck, but we should have taken a breath and realized that Trump never does anything without a good reason, and even in what appear to be his most erratic moments he is nearly always proven right later, and proven to have had a solid reason for acting as he did. I think he had early info that DeSantis was considering running, and that his backers and financiers were vermin like the Bushes, the Kochs, and Paul Ryan, among others. That is likely what set him off, because he could see that they were now going to try to use DeSantis as just the latest weapon in their never-ending crusade to get rid of Trump. And it’s looking like DeSantis himself is fully onboard with their psychotic nonsense, just because it may benefit him personally. Incidentally, I don’t think the RINO cabal even cares whether DeSantis wins the presidency, just so long as he knocks Trump out of the primary. They have always seemed to be perfectly happy to have a democrat in charge. What they won’t tolerate is an outsider who seeks to disrupt their cozy little D.C. club.
What a tragic fall from such potential heights, but he’s done. There’s no coming back from such a breach of trust. Trump was right yet again.
I read the article. The Mail draws a lot of conclusions that just are not there. For example the headline reads “DeSantis says Trump should’ve given up power like George Washington after election loss and January 6.” But reading the body of the article I fail to see where DeSantis makes reference to the election loss or January 6. The article assumes that is what he is implying which is why the article puts in “drawing sharp contrast with Trump.” as if this was direct from DeSantis. It wasn’t.
In other words, he made his point through inference rather than saying it directly - like a true politician. His years as a lawyer have paid off.
OBJECTION! Speculation!
Yeah, but it is a concern.
It is way too early in the race to reach such a hyperbolic conclusion.
Even worse:
New York insider gossip!
That’s what I say, let it play out.
The election was stolen from President Trump in the wee morning hours of Wednesday, November 4th, 2020.
The RATS and their GOPe cohorta are the ones who overturned the election, Ron.
