For the first time, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has criticized former President Donald Trump for refusing to concede power following the 2020 election – in a generalized comment referencing events more than 200 years ago.
DeSantis, who condemned rioters inside the Capitol where he once served, but has said little about Trump's push to have courts and allies toss out the results, made remarks during an interview with Piers Morgan, where he also blasted Trump administration chaos.

DeSantis has been doing millions of interviews lately. People are hearing him talk. And that’s lowered him in the polls.
You can’t fake authenticity. And you can’t fake being a weasely RINO. You either ARE one or you’re not.

I was ready to be on-board for DeSantis in case Trump had a health crisis or got beat fair and square in the primaries.
Trump may not exactly be a Constitutional Historian, but DeSantis is misrepresenting Trump, the election, and especially George Washington and the Founding Fathers. Nixon, who was likely robbed in 1960 would be a better comparison to how DeSantis thought Trump should have responded.
But while I didn’t “know” JFK, Biden was no JFK.
Between this move and his maneuvering on Ukraine, I don’t see myself being able to support DeSantis. He is a pol, and a pol who doesn’t understand HOW to read polls for a nationwide contest.

I was taught that Washington chose to not run for a third term. He did not lose and was not cheated.
The shine is certainly off DeSantis. Just another smarmy politician. He should serve out his term as governor of Florida for which he just ran for re-election, like he promised.
The election was stolen, just as the 2018 election was almost stolen from HIM by the Gillum goons. There is no honor in conceding to fraud!
Desantis sounds like he hired a Bush family communications advisor.
