The Democrats swept to power in Congress by campaigning in a way that has been successful for Democrats for generations. Republicans will take away your health care, they said, after having focus-grouped it. Now we are preparing for a 2020 campaign in which Donald Trump and Republicans can as easily advertise to the public: Democrats will take away cows, and your car. What happened to Democrats?
Back in November, it looked like Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic House caucus had found the perfect plan for their party in the era of Trump: Avoid talking about impeachment and stick to simple bread-and-butter issues. Dont tell swing voters that they are deplorable for having supported Donald Trump, instead, promise to protect the most popular features of Obamacare. Also, remind voters that Republicans cut taxes for the rich. Except for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who ran in a deep-blue district, most of the boundary-pushing progressive candidates lost their elections. All signs pointed to the idea that Democrats just had to be the normal party, and the upper Midwest would snap back in 2020.
But progressives have decided to push the envelope anyway. Fearing a conservative majority on the Supreme Court, blue states such as New York, Rhode Island, and Virginia set about passing expanded legal protections for various later-term abortions. This led to the governor of Virginias unforgettable discussion about providing comfort to a child born out of a botched abortion before a decision is made about whether that child should live or be made to die.

[Andrew Kelly/Reuters] Robert De Niro Sticks Up for Anti-Vaxx Documentary -- Even though Vaxxed was pulled from the Tribeca Film Festival, Robert De Niro is still encouraging people to see it.
I predicted on Election Night that they would overreach. I didn’t expect this much this fast.
Between Dhimmicrap excesses and President Trump’s coattails, I think the Dhimmicraps stand a good chance of losing the House. I think the GOP only needs about 17 seats net. Much easier than what the Dhimmicraps were facing, and they pulled it off.
Our Donald exposing the enemies within. This needs to be seen by everyone who loves this country!!!

And if someone adds a mark choosing another candidate (say they stopped at a Republican’s house), it'll invalidate that person's vote for that (or all offices/propositions.) Or heck, toss it in the trash, nothing in the law actually requires delivery of those ballots.
Wager he has to take pills just to get to sleep.
Exactly right.
Since household pets have been identified as a significant source of greenhouse gases, we need to play hardball. Here's the message the Republicans need to be selling:
"Democrats want to kill kittens and puppies"
Slap it on billboards with pictures of cuddly kittens and sweet looking dogs (no pitbulls, please). Of course, it may lose some of the Chinese and Korean voters....

(Will Pelosi lose the House - again?)>>>>
Does a bear shit in the woods?
Most of the gains in Congress were a result of ballot harvesting in California, a practice illegal everywhere except in California. I do not believe that it was a fair vote in California. So in fact Pelosi already has lost the house.

AB 1921 would allow anybody to walk into an elections office and hand over truckloads of vote by mail envelopes with ballots inside, no questions asked, no verified records kept, a group opposed to the bill wrote before its passage. It amounts to an open invitation to large-scale vote buying, voter coercion, granny farming, and automated forgery. AB 1921 solves no problem that a simple stamp cant solve.

“...as these Democrats today are going openly socialist.”
The dim party has been openly socialist for decades, the difference is that now some are beginning to CALL themselves socialists. That makes it much harder for people to pretend that they are not voting for socialism when they vote for such candidates. In the past I have known people who made absurd statements such as, “Now, I am no socialist, I am as conservative as anybody you will ever meet but I think the federal government should furnish free health care to everybody.” Some who like to call themselves conservative are like someone whose waist measurement is equal to his height but still refuses to admit to being fat. I live in South Carolina which some have called the most conservative state in the country in recent years but I can tell you that there are huge numbers of closet socialists in this state who will support big government but swear on a bible to be conservatives.
Yeah, it's called "vote fraud".
