Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s (D-Mich.) Lebanon war powers resolution was shut down Thursday, with the majority of House Democrats rejecting the “Squad” rep’s effort. In the floor vote, 117 Democrats voted against her resolution, and 91 voted in favor, resulting in a 92-324 defeat of Tlaib’s attempt to limit potential Trump administration military options in Lebanon. Tlaib insisted Israel was carrying out an “ethnic cleansing campaign,” and Congress must intervene to stop the “war crime.” “The Trump administration is helping in greenlighting these attacks,” she said, as Israel seeks to root out the Hezbollah terror threat in Lebanon as a second...

A pro-Palestinian Texas businessman has been bankrolling an anti-Israel super PAC that’s now backing a a trio of insurgent far-left New York congressional candidates, records show. Hussein “Sam” Mahrouq — the owner of Enterprises International, which runs AutoMax and Dollar Rent-A-Car — donated $400,000 to the American Priorities PAC, which was formed earlier this year as a counter to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. The organization said Tuesday it would drop $2 million on TV, streaming and digital ads to boost House candidates, Darializa Avila Chevalier, Claire Valdez and Brad Lander, who have all been endorsed by Mayor Zohran...

Since October 7, one of the most inconvenient facts in the entire debate has become impossible to ignore: Hamas does not merely tolerate Palestinian civilian suffering—it exploits it, it wants it. Many observers who were previously unaware of this (longstanding Arab "Palestinian" leaderships) reality were confronted with it in 2024 when reporting revealed internal communications from Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. According to the reporting, Sinwar viewed mounting Palestinian casualties and destruction not as a strategic failure, but as a strategic success. The more devastating the war became for Gaza, the greater the international pressure on Israel, the greater the diplomatic...

Modern Arab Palestinian leadership: Palestinian Authority, Nazism and Nazi CollaboratorsIntroduction Controversies surrounding antisemitism, Holocaust distortion, and praise for Nazi collaborators have repeatedly emerged in connection with the Palestinian Authority (PA), the Fatah movement, and senior Palestinian political figures. Critics — including Yad Vashem, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), and watchdog organizations such as Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) — have documented repeated examples of Holocaust revisionism, praise for Nazi collaborators, and public glorification of figures associated with Nazi Germany. Historical Background: Haj Amin al-Husseini and Nazi Germany A central figure in many controversies is Haj Amin...

And finally, new rules. Since yesterday was Israel's birthday, having become a nation on May 14th, 78 years ago, everyone must either wish her a happy birthday or admit they're anti-Semitic. Now, it's everyone's right in a free country to be anti-semitic. But enough with hiding behind Israel or Zionism or Netanyahu. If you think, as so many do now, that when it comes to human rights, Israel is the monster country of all time, you either don't read or you don't care about your own hypocrisy because there are so many worse places. But that's where we are these...

There are two kinds of people: the kind of people who want to end the Iran War and people who want to win the Iran War. The Victory Option encompasses the goal of the first kind of people because it ends the war, but ending the war is not the proper objective. The proper objective in any war is to win it. Anyone glancing at social media sees people with an absolute commitment to America’s defeat. And defeat comes about only if Donald Trump chooses to quit the war – because the Iranians can’t make us do anything since they...

Six progressive, anti-Israel candidates running for Congress in Illinois, all of whom AIPAC reportedly sees as potential members of the “Squad,” lost their primaries in the 2nd, 7th, 8th and 9th Districts on Tuesday. Most drew endorsements from the Democratic Socialists of America, members of the “Squad” in Congress or a combination of the two. Marc Rod, of Jewish Insider, wrote on March 16, the day before the primaries, that “a source close to AIPAC says the group’s main goal in Chicago is stopping who it sees as six potential Squad members: Robert Peters, Kina Collins, Junaid Ahmed, Yasmeen Bankole,...

Dozens of Democrats have voted against a nonbinding resolution in the House that reaffirms Iran as the "largest state sponsor of terrorism." The resolution, put forward by Rep. Brian Mast, R-Fla., passed by a 372-53 vote on Thursday, with all those voting no being Democrats. Two Democrats also voted present. Among those who voted against the measure were all the members of the "Squad," such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., and Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich.

By now, the video has gone viral with Trump asking a simple question: “If you agree with this statement, then stand up and show your support. The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal immigrants.”With great timing and a gift for performance and storytelling, Trump pauses and lets the applause grow. He luxuriated in the moment as the Democrats sat there, stone-faced, thinking it would play well at MS-Now. It probably will. Trump wanted all of America to see it and remember it. He set a trap. They walked right into it. “You should...

Progressive 'Squad' member Rep. Cori Bush is continuing to dish out cash to her security guard husband despite a federal probe into her alleged misuse of campaign funds for security purposes. Her most recent Federal Election Commission (FEC) filing reveals her campaign paid her husband Cortney Merritts - who works as her personal security guard - $15,000 in the first quarter of 2024. That brings the total amount she has paid him to over $135,000. Bush has regularly paid Merritts $5,000 a month since January 2022, her filings indicate.

Former left-wing congresswoman Cori Bush’s husband was charged on Thursday with defrauding the federal government to illegally collect tens of thousands of dollars in loans under COVID-era small business relief programs. Cortney Merritts, who secretly married Bush in 2023, falsified details about his purported businesses in order to obtain more than $20,000 in loans from the Small Business Administration in 2020 and 2021 under the Paycheck Protection Program and Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program, the Department of Justice said in a statement. Bush represented St. Louis before suffering a primary loss last year that she blamed on the Jews. She...

Democratic Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib went on an emotional rant about the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recruitment posts on social media during a Friday shadow hearing in Minnesota. The hearing, chaired by Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar and Democratic Washington Rep. Pramila Jayapal, discussed the recent heightened presence of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations in Minnesota and the fatal shooting of Renee Good. When it was Tlaib’s turn to speak, she used her time to passionately suggest that recent DHS social media posts evoked “neo-Nazi” and “white nationalist” imagery. Tlaib held up a printed Jan. 9 social media...

Contrary to popular belief, apparently there are some lines that even anti-Israel types won't cross after all. But only when they're shamed into doing so. As RedState previously reported, the newly formed "Doctors Against Genocide" (DAG) anti-Israel group, whose powerful allies include antisemitic members of Congress like House Hamas Caucus members Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Cori Bush (D-Mo.), announced on Christmas Day of all days that it was holding a "Stop the Genocide in Gaza" event inside the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, encouraging their supporters to obtain free tickets from the museum. ......

It’s always the ones you least expect. Two men have been taken into custody after an operation involving multiple law enforcement agencies in a Magna neighborhood. One of the suspects were identified as 58-year-old Adeeb Nasir and 31-year-old Adil Justice Ahme Nasir. According to a probable cause statement, bomb squads from the Salt Lake City Police Department and Unified Fire Authority responded to reports of a suspicious device. The Nasirs were apparently arrested “for the offenses of manufacturing or possessing a weapon of mass destruction, threat of terrorism”.

Representatives from the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) met Friday with Venezuela’s contested President Nicolás Maduro. Participants in the meeting, which took place in Venezuela’s capital of Caracas, included the chairperson of the DSA’s National Political Committee, members of the International Committee, and members of the organization’s Political Formation, Foreign Policy and Bilateral Relations sections, local news outlet Telesur reported. Venezuela has experienced widespread protests against the Maduro regime and nearly five million Venezuelans have been forced to flee the country under his rule due to food and medical shortages. A fact-finding mission appointed by the United Nations Human Rights...

“What does it mean,” the Manhattan Institute’s Tal Fortgang wrote in City Journal on Monday, “when a sitting member of Congress speaks at a conference attended by hundreds of terrorism sympathizers?” This was not simply a hypothetical question. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Ramallah) recently spoke at the People’s Conference for Palestine in Detroit, and her words were so hateful, so incendiary, and so firmly aligned with the cause of enemies of the United States, that they give Fortgang’s a particular urgency, and lead to another question: if a sitting member of Congress hates America, should she be serving in Congress at...

Summary. While Israel has historically been regarded as a close ally of the United States—sharing democratic values, intelligence cooperation, and defense partnerships—certain individuals of Arab "Palestinian" origin or ideological affiliation have been involved in acts of violence against Americans. If you had any doubts about the true agenda of the “pro-Palestine” movement, just consider last weekend’s annual People’s Conference for Palestine in Detroit. It was a gathering of martyrdom fetishists, Hamas supporters and antisemites, all bathing in an atmosphere of hate, rage and despair as they condemned Israel but reserved their deepest scorn for the United States. The focus was a kind of patriotism and love of country — for Palestine. No American flags were in sight, though a prominent “Glory to Our Martyrs” banner kept everyone mindful of their ultimate duty to the cause. Speakers vied to outdo...

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) closed out the radical “People’s Conference for Palestine” in Detroit Sunday by boasting of her congressional power and Palestinian resilience, telling cheering attendees, “Now we’re in Congress, and we’re in every corner of the United States. We aren’t going anywhere. We are just getting started,” and declaring that their grassroots activism is winning against the “decaying halls of the empire in Washington, DC.” The weekend-long conference, organized by a coalition of radical pro-Palestinian groups, drew scrutiny for featuring extremist voices alongside Tlaib, including convicted terrorists and anti-American activists who openly called for dismantling U.S. institutions. One...

“We have to destroy the idea of America in our heads, in our neighbors’ heads, in our comrades’ heads, in everybody’s heads in this country.” The People’s Conference for Palestine, held in Troy, Michigan, this past weekend, was billed as a grassroots gathering of Palestinian activists and their allies. But behind the carefully packaged language of “liberation,” the rhetoric captured in multiple clips from the conference reveals an alarming mix of anti-Americanism and anti-Semitism—messaging that seeks to delegitimize the United States itself while demonizing Israel and its supporters. The clips, shared by Twitter/X user @thestustustudio (Stu Smith), expose the raw...
