Well, the counterargument to that pic is that the car was already moving at a pretty good clip when it was taken. In other words, the guy taking a swing at his taillights was not the cause of his speeding toward the crowd but a response to his speeding toward the crowd.
I’m not sure what to think about this one. I was hoping some clarity would emerge from the trial. I’d like to see an objective analysis of the arguments that were presented.
That was my take as well. I was sure he was going to be found innocent - other than perhaps of 'negligent homicide' - and even that wouldn't have been right. The man was fleeing from a violent mob, and if one of the mobster's got a heart attack when she was brushed during his attempt to flee - then that was unfortunate, but not the fault of the driver.
I am frankly shocked. The jury must have been stacked with AntiFA members.

Many people shared such images around the time Black Lives Matter were blocking highways and roads. They may have even be shared on FreeRepublic.
So just be aware if you ever get into conflict with a non-White or in an anti-White jurisdiction your meme posting may be used in evidence against you.
The trial should be moved out of Charlottsville. The jury was rigged.

James Fields will face a second, federal trial. Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ Justice Department charged him with 30 hate crimes in addition to his state murder charge.

Apparently the most damning evidence was a social media posting a few days before the incident where he claimed he was going to run over a bunch of people at the demonstration. That’s some pretty strong evidence of premeditation, I’d say.
This is what happens. This is what the Left and the Democratic Party want.
I don’t know what was in that man’s heart when he hit that crowd. I watched the video, and could not determine with certainty that man steered his car into that crowd to injure them. Perhaps he thought he could get them to scatter. I simply don’t know.
But I do know this:
Today’s Left is a product of the Chicago Seven who incited those protesters to riot at the 1968 Democratic National Convention knowing full well there was going to be violence and bloodshed. They are proud of this.
Today’s Left had one President who was a disciple of Saul Alinsky, and one presidential candidate who was an acolyte of Saul Alinsky.
To anyone who has ever read that vile work, this approach to incite violence is understandable. This is their formula, those astonishingly unashamed disciples of Alinsky. They are not interested in solving problems. They are interested in prodding a wound, poking a wound to drive the wounded person mad. Mad enough to do something. If there is a healing scab there, it is to be removed in the most painful way possible. Action they favor to move their agenda forward will be quicker.
They are interesting in grasping power. And to do that, they readily accept using the blood of ignorant, misinformed, and malinformed young people as a tool to get it. Tools. They are not going to solve a problem.
Until they get their way, what they will do is exacerbate a problem to suit their ends. They will inflame any problem to suit their ends. They WANT violence at the intersection of these struggles. They view it as simply a price to be paid, but to them, the chaos, news coverage, and transport of their agenda to the forefront, well...the more violence the better. Any tools of theirs who become victims on either side of this struggle are simply eggs to be broken in the making of their filthy ideological omelette. Nothing more.
That woman who died was murdered by that specific path laid down by the Left.
That man who drove the car is going to lose his freedom and a normal life for a large part of whatever life remains for him regardless of what was in his heart, and his normal life was murdered by the ideologues steering the Left as well.
These two people on opposite sides of this struggle were unwitting tools of the Left...one died, the other will suffer. The fact that those two sides came into contact and conflict on that day had a powerful portion of the Left rubbing its hands with glee. And they take joy in this, because that epitomizes the Alinskyite approach to obtaining the levers of power, and among them, the death of that woman and and the imprisonment of this man is cause for celebration. To them, this even was a success.
There is no reason for a Federal Charges to be sent to trial.
When faced with a mob blocking a highway whitey has to settle for the Reginald Denny treatment.
What an injustice.
