Well, the counterargument to that pic is that the car was already moving at a pretty good clip when it was taken. In other words, the guy taking a swing at his taillights was not the cause of his speeding toward the crowd but a response to his speeding toward the crowd.
I’m not sure what to think about this one. I was hoping some clarity would emerge from the trial. I’d like to see an objective analysis of the arguments that were presented.
Agreed. I wanted to hear Fields try to explain in plain English why he did what he did. If he went to the rally intending to kill people, and if that was the motive behind his appalling driving, then the verdict is exactly what he deserves. If not, then perhaps he deserved leniency.
I don't know where to look for objective analysis of the trial, or even objective reporting of the events that led to the trial. I do know that I cannot rely on the MSM for objective coverage.
