A top Senate Dem says he expects Franken to resign Thursday shortly after Franken’s office said he would be making an announcement Thursday.
Democrat Senator Ron Wyden tweeted,”I expect that Senator Franken will announce his resignation tomorrow. It is the right thing to do given this series of serious allegations.”

My problem with losing Frankin right now is that it would not surprise me if our illustrious governor appoint’s Keith Ellison to the position. The last thing we need is him in the senate.
Populating the Congress with more women by outing their male counterparts would be a sea change that could help the Dems realize their dream of a woman in the White House.
My impression from the news on Franken is just that he was extremely immature, but not a pervert or predator.

I predict a Gloria Allred moment (hope for it, actually). I hope for Gloria Allred because as soon as she shows up most Americans instantly roll eyes. But somehow, the Mueller investigation will take up the incoming sexual assault/rape/etc. charges against Trump.
