Seminar focuses on improving dialogue with LGBTQ community and inclusion in schools.
Substitute teacher Meghan Buell gets a kick out of her second-grade students who ask if shes a boy or a girl. She tells them shes a girl, of course.
Then they invariably ask why her voice is so deep.
I dont know, she tells them. I was born this way.
One child, trying to help the transgender woman, suggested she eat a cough drop to help her voice.
Ill give that a try, she said she told the child. Thanks.
The cough drop didnt help, Buell told about 40 people who attended a seminar Friday at the La Porte County Complex.

“This introduction of gender identity to small children without the parents knowledge or consent naturally raised some concerns.”
By Kevin Spacey?
Sorry. They have already proved there is no homosexual gene. Being gay or transexual is a choice so don’t ask me to support it.
I have Buells in my family tree. One of the least memorable justices on SCOTUS. Related somehow to George Washington.
I remember how much trouble Anita Bryant got into back in the late 70s when she said that homosexuals should not be teaching students. The media said she was crazy. And here we are.
Everybody was “born the way they are”.
Alcoholics. Sociopaths. Saints. Geniuses. Rapists.
Whatever. It’s a meaningless argument.
If there were a homosexual gene , we would have cured it by now.
No, she wasn't. Bill DeBlasio's wife is a FORMER lesbian.

I never knew that, but then again the Mayor is sleeping half the time so his misses could still be
“I was born this way” is what I say now if someone asks me why I am repulsed by homosexuality.
He’ll scream just fine in the lake of fire.
“Of course. You’re a tard...”
If there were a homosexual gene it would have cured itself by now by not reproducing.
Evolution is all about survival of the gene.
An organism that cannot or will not reproduce....doesn’t.

I just finished watching AMC’s HUMANS I had on TiVo.
One of the characters is a little human girl about age 9. During the series, she starts emulating the robots. Her parents are upset, but they can’t get her to stop.
The program actually revealed something they may not have intended in the current culture. No matter how much the little girl wished to be — become — a robot, it was not going to happen. Conversely, several of the robot characters were desiring to become more human-like. However, no matter how many human characteristics they acquired, they were still robots.
The same can be applied to males wanting to be come females and vice-versa. No matter how much medication and surgery, the XX and XY are not changed.
