Cry me a river. Failed 2012 GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney was reportedly in tears when he told attendees of his Summit, which has been described as a “safe space” for the “Never Trump” smart set, that seeing Trump as the Republican nomination was breaking his heart. One wonders if Romney is really sad that Trump’s candidacy has resonated with working Americans more than his inflexible and robotic campaign ever did. Romney also reportedly ripped Ted Cruz and John Kasich for not taking on Trump harsh enough from the outset. But where was “tough guy” Romney when Trump was rising in the polls? He, like most of the GOP Smart Set who have never been in touch with the party’s voters, probably thought Trump’s candidacy would fade away.
9:35: Meg Whitman, who could not get voters to like her despite giving Mike Murphy gazillions to spend, reportedly “compared Trump to historical demagogues like Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini” at Romney’s retreat. Also at the “safe space” for the “Never Trump” smart set, Ana Navarro, the GOP sellout who spends more time attacking conservatives than Democrats to ensure, reportedly called Trump a “racist” and a “vulgarian and a pig who has made disgusting comments about women for years.”
[Why don’t these people just become Democrats and try to make them more fiscally responsible?]

Very fair question. One possible answer is that the globalists own the Democrat Party lock, stock and barrel and are only sad because they thought they owned the GOP as well.

I don’t care what you might say about Trump, he did three things for which I’ll be forever grateful.
1) Reintroduced the words “illegal immigration” and wall back into our national lexicon,
2) Told the truth about the extreme danger of unchecked Muslim immigration and refugee acceptance, and
3) He caused all of our RINO traitors - ones that held liberal values all along but lied to us (Mitt, for one) to self-identify themselves and come out of the liberal closet.
I also think there was also one other huge benefit: Showing politicians out there (especially any of the good ones) that the media is not God and doesn’t have to be adored.

Romney is either very depressed and in need of therapy OR he foresees a Trump presidency and is fearful of of ‘his’ and the cabal’s corruption being exposed.
There is no way the many who have been elected and became wealthy while in D.C. have done so ethically.
Mitt makes himself a 3 time loser without even running 3 times.
Romney needs to be pushed out a window.
Maybe he and Whitman can be convinced to take the lovers leap together.
