DC Whispers ^ | April 14, 2016 | Staff

Posted on 04/14/2016 12:04:50 PM PDT by CreviceTool

Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, was shredded by liberal media for having placed a hand on a female reporter who then claimed he assaulted her. Michelle Fields loudly proclaimed she had almost been thrown to the ground by Lewandowski – claims that were later proven to be false. Ted Cruz and John Kasich were all too happy to join the liberal media bandwagon and denounced both Lewandowski AND Donald Trump for the alleged incident and claimed they would have fired Mr. Lewandowski....

“Cavalier attitudes towards loyal friends, employees or even spouses is a sign of a very shallow individual.”

I think you - or someone like you - posted the same thing when Bill Clinton walked.

And we’ll hear it again when Hillary walks.

“Insufficient to Prosecute” does NOT equal “innocent”!!

Anyone with the slightest bit of common sense available to them knew from the get go this was NOT assault & battery. Kasich and sCruz should have kept their mouths shut. Instead, they chose to be petulent for political expedience. Look where it got them.

Haven't read the book lately? Did you ever?

Jean had stolen a loaf of bread, did time, was finally let out and then stopped ta the priest's home. yes, he did steal some silver pieces, but the priest said that he had given it to him, so that was NEVER the reason that Javert was after him.

Valjean NEVER showed up to where he is supposed to go, changes his name, several times, and Javert keeps running into him throughout the book. He wants to drag him back to prison, for BREAKING PAROLE!

And the thing is, Fields touched Trump TWICE, was warned off bu the SS TWICE and was going after Trump for the THIRD time, when Cory intervened. According to the LAW, Fields is the GUILTY one, who broke the law. She's a liar and a damned DRAMA QUEEN, whose mother is a lefty LA RAZA biatch!

Hitlery’s guards pushed a woman aside the other day on the subway when she decided to rub shoulders with the little people.
But you didn’t see a brouhaha over that. Wonder why.

I have stepped between an aggressive sample saleswoman at the grocery store, placed my hand on her upper arm to stress that we weren’t interested in her meat on a stick. (My wife is nice to a fault.)
Have you ever steadied someone who stumbled, to keep them from falling? That’s not battery. Warding someone off (or putting your hands on someone to steady them, including snow flakes), that’s making it clear to a pushy person you want to pass by.

I imagine this Baba Wawa wannabe waited until she saw the SS guards were distracted and tried to stick a mike (meat kabob) under Trump’s nose, Lew stepped in and did what anyone with Trump would have done.
Anyway, doesn’t this woman have as history of complaining about nothings?
For those with an ax to grind, like this partisan journo (but I repeat myself), if one of their own is charged with something questionable, like—gee, I dunno: dating while married, well they’re innocent until proven.

It seems, based on the video, she grabbed or touched Trump first.

It would be sweet irony if The Donald charged her with assault.

We’re all innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. So, yes, technically he’s innocent, since the case didn’t go to court.

However .. .

“They acted well within their authority to investigate and make an independent charging decision. We agree that probable cause exists for the Jupiter Police Department to charge Mr. Lewandwoski in this case,” Aronberg said. “Our standard is higher than probable cause. ... Although the facts support the allegation that Mr. Lewandowski did grab Ms. Fields’ arm against her will, Mr. Lewandowski has a reasonable hypothesis of innocence.”

Cruz, being a lawyer, should have gathered hard facts and evidence before commenting on the matter. Since he did not do this, either he is a lousy lawyer, or his comments were made for political reasons.

Again, this man demonstrates poor judgement for condemning Trump's campaign manger. Cruz could have taken the high road and built some esteem among the electorate. Instead his actions backfired, and now he's proven he's small and petty.

Cruz says he would have fired Cory, that tells me a lot.

It sure does. Cruz lacks ethics which influences his judgement.

Yup, he’s a snake. Worse than Slick or Obama. I fail to see what brings to the table as President of the United States except supporting NAFTA, TPP, and amnesty; all three of which will destroy our country.

You must not be familiar with our court system. I can assure you—you are not truly innocent until proven guilty in the US. If you were then how do we have people sitting in jail waiting a trial? We like to say innocent until proven guilty but the actual process is anything but that.

Cruz fired that former soft-core porn actress who his campaign hadn't properly vetted when they hired her to be in an ad. Seems to me it's the staff member who didn't properly vet her would be a better candidate to be fired.

Doesn't Holy Ted believe in forgiveness and redemption for an actress who changed her life direction?

Yes. And I think if Cruz and Kasich advocates were honest with themselves and objective, they would come to the same conclusion.

Have they NO SHAME?

After seeing Trump supporters gleefully calling Cruz a serial adulterer with no evidence other than a sleazy tabloid article to back them up, pardon me if I don't get too worked up about this. The character assassination suffered by Cruz is far worse than poor Corey had to deal with, and Trumpkins don't seem the least bit bothered by that.

...

People are held if they are a flight risk or if they are a threat to the community. All issues that have to be cleared with the court and are not binding with regards to guilt. I’m sure you can nitpick some more if you want, but it has nothing to do with the case in question.

He knew all of the facts, he was trying to score cheap political points.
