Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, was shredded by liberal media for having placed a hand on a female reporter who then claimed he assaulted her. Michelle Fields loudly proclaimed she had almost been thrown to the ground by Lewandowski – claims that were later proven to be false. Ted Cruz and John Kasich were all too happy to join the liberal media bandwagon and denounced both Lewandowski AND Donald Trump for the alleged incident and claimed they would have fired Mr. Lewandowski....

Oh geez. First do I think he should be charged? Absolutely not, but based on the law as it is written he is not innocent. Not being charged and being innocent are two different things. By the titles logic Hillary is innocent.
Do I agree with Cruz and Kasich on this issue? No I do not. But this dumb ass flame title doesn’t help the situation one bit.
We need to start acting like adults. After the election is over we’ll look back at these threads and be ashamed at how we acted over a bunch of politicians.

Facts and innocence until proven guilty are something you would think an alleged "Constitutional expert" would comprehend.
Cavalier attitudes towards loyal friends, employees or even spouses is a sign of a very shallow individual. It makes me wonder if Cruz is the sort who would cavalierly cheat on his spouse.

This incident looked like a setup.
It is what happens when the people involved have NOTHING to bring to the people and the country...no substance but only the danger of just more bought-and-paid-for establishment losers that will do just that. No fight, and lose. Just like McCain and Romney. Good ole boys who do not care.

So “innocent” is perhaps too strong a word, although this all seems a bit of a tempest in a tea cup.
If shoving someone harshly is assault, I did it 100 times a day when I worked as a bouncer back in college.
Cruz lost me when he pandered on the BLM shutdown of Trump in Chicago. Over and out for Teddy after that.

Even Bill Maher said it was B.S. for her to claim she was assaulted, and that the liberals made themselves look like idiots for jumping on.
BTW, I was in the line waiting to get into the UIC Auditorium in Chicago when the event was cancelled. Later, I was astonished at what Cruz said after walking out in front of the cameras after enduring a $XXX per plate fundraiser in the burbs. What a BOLD MAN that Mr. Cruz!
