Donald Trump does not have a "consistent conservative view" and should not be placed in a position to nominate a successor to Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonin Scalia, Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush told Newsmax TV on Friday.
"Each time he's had a chance to be in a position where he would apply conservative principles in a way to help anybody other than himself," he hasn't, the former Florida governor told "Newsmax Now" hosts J.D. Hayworth and John Bachman. ...

trump? Lifelong New Yorkian LIBERAL?
Yes, (And sadly, it seems, one heckuva salesman.)
.
vaya con dios Yeb. Next up the 3 cent stamp and then the pint sized liar with cowboy boots.
And David “Eminent Domain” Souter.
Yep.
I don’t trust the Donald.
But I don’t trust Jeb, either.
Ted, now, wrote one of the best of the Heller amici, which gives me at least some reason to trust him.
Jeb speaks...nobody listens!
For me, it’s two words as far as Jeb is concerned: Terry Schivao.
Has Jethro spent all his sponsors’ money yet?
Who in their right mind would believe anything Jebadio says? He should go back to Florida and enjoy the beaches.
Oh, yeah—Bushes are obviously so trustworthy on nominees—with Souter, Harriet, and Roberts...
“Donald Trump does not have a “consistent conservative view”
One of the most honest statements given during the entire campaign
Trump is a total liberal and would go with whoever the libs present to him - probably his sister.
That said, Jeb Bush really should not have allowed anybody to push him into running. He was a good governor but that was it, and even he doesn’t appear to be much into this president stuff.
Sad, he shouldn’t have sucked up the bucks from people like Walker, Cruz or Rubio. They’re struggling because their opponent is self-funded and doesn’t even have to get supporters. They do. Think about it.
No, he won’t give us any one that good he’ll give us someone like morons tried or Stephen Breyer.
I agree with Bush here. That said I wouldn’t trust Jeb either.
Just go away Yeb
The Bush family's notion of an ideal Supreme Court Justice is a crony like Harriet Miers. Jeb would probably appoint his caddy to SCOTUS if you gave him half a chance.
It was the Bushes who gave us Souter and Roberts.
None of the GOP candidates have a “Consistent Conservative View.”
Cruz was on FOX just before 4:00 lying again that Trump would appoint his sister to the Court, ignoring the two people he named as likely.
You can say that again: Pot, Kettle, JEB!
He dropped out. He should stifle his nasty self now. What happened to the happy warrior? Now he’s an old biddy.
