He was supposed to win the GOP nomination easily and just six months ago, it appeared he would do just that. He had tens of millions of donor dollars at the ready, the approval of the GOP Establishment, and a successful stint as governor of one of the most important swing states in the country.
Nothing went as planned.

A D.C. Whispers source painted the Bush campaign with the following colors:
"He just doesn't have it and he's not a good enough politician to fake it. He's also suffering from eight years of Barack Obama faking it and voters getting wise. Most everyone sees the weakness, the phoniness, the sense of entitlement and that just won't stand up to voter sentiment this election cycle. People are pissed. Ironically, so is Jeb Bush. He's angry at everything and everyone right now. Despondent, depressed, and angry at the world. He is having a very difficult time grasping the reality of someone like Donald Trump at the top of the polls and seeing himself in single-digits. Jeb isn't his brother. Jeb is a cry-baby and that part of his character is really coming through the last few months as he's struggled to get anyone to pay attention to his version of things. People want tough and that's something Jeb Bush has never been."

Bueno!
Next on Intervention . . . .
"Jeb, I see a bunch of people that love you like crazy and they feel like they are losing you. And they wanna fight to get you back. Will you stop this madness and drop out of the race for the Republican nomination for president?"
Man, that line of his really got on my bad side.
Fool that he is.
Great photo! do you have just the photo without the writing on it?
I wish I had a pic depicting Jeb as a squalling infant.
I’ve no interest in politicians who won’t represent me. I’ve come to terms with the fact that the Republican party is no more willing to protect me and this country’s founding principles than the Democrats are. I no longer feel any respect or loyalty to this country’s self-serving, rapacious, greedy and thoroughly corrupt political class, their vile bureaucrat handmaidens or the legions of degenerate two-legged sewer rats who put them in office.
And he stomps his little feet, and cries, ‘but it was MY TURN’.””””
This is the disease that the establishment GOP has shoved at American voters for faaaar too long. Karl Rove & Company think they are smarter than we are & they just won’t come down out of their towers to even really talk to us. They have become part of the problem——no longer part of the solution.
Dole-—a rather nice man, but not someone I saw as a President. I always thought his wife was the smarter one.
McCain-—a bitter person who certainly was given the title of War Hero when he was in fact a long term POW. I know he suffered, but I sincerely think he got some serious brainwashing. His attitude & his staff’s treatment toward Palin was also disgusting. Why pick her in the first place if all you are going to do is stab her in the back every moment of the day during an entire campaign?
Mitt Romney-—a gentleman by birth & training. However, I think he lived so much of his life in an Ivory Tower that he never understood what is really happening in the USA.
I actually worked at American Motors in Kenosha,Wis., when his father, George, was the President of that company. A polite person who toured the facility every year & personally shook every person’s hand & thanked them for working there. I have had lots of jobs in my lifetime, and I never got that handshake & words from a CEO anywhere else.
Jeb just isn’t someone I want in the Oval Office with the 3 AM phone call.
Neither do I see Kasich, Christie, Fiorina or even Dr Carson as a President who can handle the 3 AM calls.
Kasich seems to not understand the problem of illegal immigrants. Don’t know how many are presumed to be in Ohio, but trying to equate them with the immigrants to the USA in the mid-1800’s is plainly dead wrong.
MY maternal great-grandparents & paternal grandparents came thru Ellis “Island, made their way to the Midwest and lived with other relatives until they could buy farms or businesses of their own. My mother’s father owned a bank in a small town. My dad’s father ran a construction company. They were checked for disease at Ellis Island and they needed to have a known place that they were going. They NEVER got any taxpayer funded dole & became hard working members of the communities they lived in.
The rick of the ‘refugees’ that this country is being smothered with is immense.
Trump is right. A wall—a real Border Patrol who can have real ammo-—and a ban on those coming here wholesale.
Dearest Yebbie: I know you feel we all are pond scum and unintelligent. We know you think you are one of our betters. However, you suck. Everyone laughs at pathetic you. Please go to mehico. (P.S., stop picking your nose in public)
The man is completely incapable of looking himself in the mirror and taking the measure of his own strengths and weaknesses.””””
My Dad told us all of the years we were growing up:
“It isn’t what you know that counts the most. It is YOU knowing what you DO NOT know that is most important. Knowing when to ask for help is important”.
I think Trump will bringing him in...you watch...”””
In What capacity?
Even the compassionate chickens in the warm Hen House know NOT to bring the fox inside because it is cold outside.
Go home to mommy, Jebbie. Leave this stuff to the grown ups.
Gosh, I love Jackie Gleason. He was the greatest! For a fat guy, he could really dance.
And I’m surprised that there’s someone on FR old enough to remember him.
Thanks for the good news.
Bad news for Jebe is good news for Americans.
Sounds great!
No more Bushes.
No more Clintons.
And no more community organizers!
Jeb Bush is the Jar-Jar Binks of politics. He even has the same initials.
I agree with that.
Jeb wound up in his current position in life through sheer accident of birth - not because of any unique talents or personal attributes he might possess, and certainly not through dint of hard work and achievement.
On his own, I doubt he would have ever become more than a mid level manager in a small business. More likely, he would have become a low level government drone of some type.
He's completely out of his depth, and has no business running for mayor of a small town, much less, President of the USA.
The razor edge of irony! Wonderful!
