DES MOINES REGISTER SHOCK POLL: CRUZ 29%, TRUMP 22%, RUBIO 13%, CARSON 11%
Lol! Sounds like you’re celebrating with some strong stuff. Enjoy this moment.
OK. Some don’t believe Trump is a conservative convert.
I’ve decided to give him the benefit of the doubt.
I know that Bush, Rubio, Christie, Pataki, Gilmore, Kasich, Fiorina, Paul, and Carson are either partially conservative or full blown liberals.
That leaves Cruz as your only choice...right?
“...They are worried. They know they cannot win against Donald Trump....”
**********************************************************************************
Yes, the Clintonistas are worried...with good reason. They cannot win against EITHER Trump or Cruz. And, if it’s a Trump/Cruz ticket or a Cruz/Trump tickey, Katie bar the door.
That’s why the Clintonites are supporting the GOPe efforts to somehow raise the numbers of one or more of the Establishment RINOs (and I include the duplicitous, lying, Amnesty & Senator Schumer loving Marco Rubio among that group).
I was talking about someone who won NEITHER the Iowa or New Hampshire primary and then went on to win the nomination. It appears that Reagan is that example.
Rather telling isn’t it.
That and when George Will shared his insider scoop that Walker was a sure thing in Iowa.
Iowa-Shmiowa
Migrant farm workers?
Iowa has a dismal record of predicting the nominee.
Trump, though, and I listened to him recently saying this, would like to run the table.
That’s asking a lot, but it suggests to me that he’ll go after Cruz now.
He needs to know, though, that evangelical bonafides is not Cruz’s problem and never will be.
Trump hinted that he knows that Cruz’s daddy warbucks is big oil. That’s one way to hit him. Cruz will owe those people something. On the other hand, Cruz is from Texas, and oil is as much a part of their fabric as is rodeos and roundups.
I think Cruz’s real weakness is the Corker vote, the TPA vote, and the H1B visa. Just my opinion, though.
I think Trump’s weakness is that he IS a 10 billionaire, but he’s been so above-board about that that it’s hard to see how he can be attacked over that. It would help if he had a few rat infested, slum properties, but somehow I doubt that’s the case.
Dominionism isn't a denomination. It is an ideology/theology, so you can be a Baptist, Methodist, whatever, and hold to it. That said, I've never seen a single news article ever associating Ted Cruz with attendance at Second Baptist Church in Houston. I did a google search and all I got was: "second baptist high school".
Most of the folks in Congress are, to one degree or other, crony capitalists. Some., mainly dammacraps, have little or no regard for the Constitution.
The next president will not rid us of crony capitalism or unconstitutional government. I’m not that naive to believe that’s possible. Even President Cruz will not win every battle. But if we elect a president for whom the Constitution is NOT his North Star, his guiding light, we will be doomed to fall, inch hy inch, into empire. And with hitlery, it would be foot by foot. With trump we would fall into empire yard by yard.
The kenyan antichrist has been a transitional figure from a republic to something of a dictatorship, like Rome under Julius Caesar. He was never officially given the title corresponding with emporer or king. It was Augustus Caesar who, by changing Rome’s basic laws, consolidated Rome’s power in the executive at the price of that of the Senate, its legislature. We are on the cusp of that now. If we don’t elect a strong constitutionalist, we will move further to the fate of the Roman Republic, toward empire. This will happen slowly with most of the Republican field. None of them shows any proclivity toward reversing the crony capitalism and unconstitutional ism except Sen. Cruz. We will move more quickly with hitlery. We will move more quickly still with trump. As of yet, sanders doesn’t appear to be much of a threat.
Cruz or lose. America.
Cruz or lose. America.
And Cruz sleeps with Wall Street bigwigs and Trial Attorneys. And his wife worked for Satan/Soros/The Trilateral Commission/The Cabal.
Agreed on all counts.
Trump can’t seem accept 2nd place. He has to be willing to take his share of Iowa and move forward.
Super Tuesday will be very interesting. IMHO that’s when we’ll get a peek up the GOPe/Establishment skirt.
I have no doubt that Trump is extraordinarily popular, and I also agree that he has struck a nerve with the American people, including with me, personally. I like the guy and he has been a huge plus in moving the political debate toward issues that actually have meaning for me like coddling folks who are criminal by definition and who came come uninvited into our American House, and calling out the Muslim masses for their cowardly acquiescence to terror in their name, etc., instead of the usual political crap. All good.
Still I like another guy better, and have since before Trump came on the scene. One of these two is sure to win the Iowa Caucuses, I have my preference but I would be content either way.
I have noticed that many of the Trump followers are rabid, however. They are impolite, crude, abusive, and often dishonest about policy matters. I hope that if Trump loses in Iowa, as I think he probably will, that their vitriol will be held in check. Right now, I’d have to say that Trump’s rabid followers are his greatest liability, and that if this worsens they could sink him.
I’ve heard it for six months. I’ve also seen people explain the dynamics involved.
As for the things I addressed, there’s no big secret about them.
What do you mean I don’t want to hear it? I’ve heard it, addressed it and addressed it again.
Those policies are not the policies Trump is hawking to the American public. Reagan’s platform it.
Get up to speed...
Please post your documentation with any evidence whatsoever that some of Trump’s supporters here will go to Bernie Sanders.
Other than that you and ass and a liar.
I’ve noticed it too, but it goes back about five and a half months. They can’t grasp what Trump is, so of course anyone who can has to be mentally challenged.
Look in the mirror folks.
Cruz is from Texas, and oil is as much a part of their
fabric as is rodeos and roundups.
***************
Cruz may circulate in the oil part but I’d bet rodeos and roundups aren’t in his
venue except for maybe sitting in the excutive boxes at the Houston Fat Stock rodeo.
