Trump slams Iowa paper ahead of key poll
United Press International ^ | December 12, 2015 | Ann Marie Awad

Trump told supporters: I only like polls that treat me well.

DES MOINES, Iowa, Dec. 12 (UPI) — As the Des Moines Register prepares to release its key poll in the Iowa primary, Donald Trump slammed the paper calling it “dishonest.”

The paper previously found itself on Trump’s bad side after it published an editorial in July calling for the real estate mogul to end his presidential campaign. He responded by refusing press credentials to Register reporters at his events.

Trump knocked the paper at an event Friday in Des Moines: “You have one of the most dishonest right here in your backyard. The Des Moines Register is the worst. They’re very dishonest.”

No! Outlier! Is Des Moines a French newspaper? The winners in Iowa never do anything. Don’t they know Trump is for ethanol? Stupid Iowans. Have I covered everything? Feel free to add more.

As a Cruz guy, I take no delight in Trump’s fall, and I am skeptical of anything from just one poll. But there are two things we can all rejoice about here, two things that agree with several other polls:
1. Carson is fading fast
2. The top tier is not Trump, Cruz, and Rubio - it is Trump and Cruz. Ricky Ricardo is a distant third.

Yeah, well, don’t put much stock into winning in Iowa. I’d just as soon not see my preferred candidate(s) on top, there.

LoL Trump leads with 33% a few days ago and 13% over the nearest competitor. Des Moines Register morons go full tard manufacturing fantasy. Only 50 days left before they get their well deserved comeuppance.

The correct two are at the top. Just as long as they stay there for another 9 years and one month.

They "mis-dialed" the NY Slimes editorial board for good measure.

Not shocking, nor unexpected, but would not be surprised if on Caucus night it’s not the other way either.

Iowa was pretty key for the Santorum and Huckabee efforts as I recall.

The DMR Poll is commonly considered the gold standard of Iowa Polling. In 2014, it was the only poll to show that Joni Ernst was going to win her seat comfortably, meanwhile other polling outfits had it much closer.
