Fox Business Network on Thursday announced the candidate line-up for the Nov. 10 Republican presidential debates.
The candidates qualifying for the prime-time, 9 p.m. ET debate are:
Billionaire businessman Donald Trump; retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson; Florida Sen. Marco Rubio; Texas Sen. Ted Cruz; former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush; former HP CEO Carly Fiorina; Ohio Gov. John Kasich; and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul.
The candidates qualifying for the earlier, 7 p.m. ET debate are:
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie; former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee; Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal; and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum.
The criteria were different than for past debates. In a change, Christie and Huckabee âdid not qualify for the prime-time event, while former New York Gov. George Pataki and South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham did not qualify for either; neither did ex-Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore.
Christie brushed it off on Twitter, saying: "It doesn't matter the stage, give me a podium and I'll be there to talk about real issues."

Why are Paul and Kasich in the lineup?

The difference is Jeb Bush's father won, as did his brother. Ron Paul did not.

I agree

They're going to keep her on the stage as long as they can because they think they need a woman up there. Pandering to the female vote. And as a woman I can tell you I don't like being pandered to. She doesn't belong there anymore.
I am not familiar of Trish Reagan who is one of the two women moderators in the first debate. The other one is Melissa Francis, I believe and Maria Bartimoro moderates with Neil Cavuto
No I didn’t miss it.
What is Kasich, 2%, doing on the same stage as Trump, 25%, Carson, 23%, Rubio 13% and Cruz, 11%?
Must have killed them to admit Trump is ahead in their own poll.
Maybe by the December debate...
If it’s a debate about the economy maybe the Apostle Ben will enliven us all about about all that grain stored in the pyramids. And maybe his version on why Christ died on the cross.
“First, there was Carson posting on Facebook that Easter wasnât about Christâs sacrifice on the cross for the sins of the world, and ensuing resurrection proving he was the only Son of God. Rather, Carson posted Easter was about âacceptanceâ and said Christians and Muslims are children of the same God. That, of course, would be news to Christians and Muslims alike. Since one side says the basis for their faith is Christâs resurrection from the dead, and the other side claims he was never crucified in the first place. One side says âGod has no sonâ and the other begs to differ. Christians and Muslims could both be wrong, but they canât both be right unless youâre bi-polar and have no problems with glaring contradictions”.
Fox and the libs really pushing Christie now, saying he’s the only one with “authenticity” for speaking about addiction. I don’t guess they remember Trump speaking about his brother Fred dying of alcoholism.
He the GOPE’s plan C if Little Jebbie or the Rube flame out.
They could have picked the four polls that gave the result they wanted.
Perhaps they're chorophobic
Sandra Smith and Trish Regan will moderate the undercard.
Sandra is great. Trish is not.
