Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson has been fired from the reality program following his controversial remarks in GQ magazine regarding homosexuality.
A+E Networks, parent company of A&E, has released the following statement to Variety:
We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertsons comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty. His personal views in no way reflect those of A+E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community.
I’m willing to bet Phil doesn’t regret saying it for a single second. Good for him.
I think they will cancel the show it back fired on them they wanted a show portraying the the south as stupid red necks...
I suspect A&E needs the Robertsons more than the Robertsons need A&E.
I guess wal mart will discontinue carrying their products too? I bet Phil couldn’t care any less. He’s already a wealthy man and he don’t need no steenkin’ a&e.
That’s what I would have thought.
But, it seems that Fear is ruling the day.
I have no need to watch their programming.
Buh bye, A&E.
Thin-skinned Gaystapo strikes again.
Can one of you teck savvy guys put together a list of major sponsors for the show? Please include phone and e-mails.
Burn up the phones
Flood the in-boxes.
And call your cable provider and threaten cacellation.
Maybe he can repent by shoving a red candle up his butt like DeCrappio did in ‘’The Wolf of Wall Street’’. That should make the homos happy.
This is going to blow up in A&E’s faces. Sell the show to a channel that want high ratings.
Ironic because they are running a DD marathon right now.
That didn’t take long.
I hope A&E crashes and burns with this decision.
Once again confirming my decision to cancel my TV service was a good choice.
Freedom of the press is guaranteed only to those who own one.

Not a huge surprise. As god fearing, non-PC conservatives, It’s more surprising they have been tolerated this long.
If the kids can follow suit they should walk off and give them a one finger salute. But they have more class than that. Unlike the hateful progressives.
A + E network — dead to me.
