Kellogg's Corn Pops
The cereal business is not what is used to be, at least for products that are not considered "healthy." Among those is Kellogg's Corn Pops ready-to-eat cereal. Sales of the brand dropped 18% over the year that ended in April, down to $74 million. That puts it well behind brands like Cheerios and Frosted Flakes, each which have sales of over $200 million a year. Private label sales have also hurt sales of branded cereals. Revenues in this category were $637 million over the same April-end period. There is also profit margin pressure on Corn Pops because of the sharp increase in corn prices. Kellogg's describes the product as being "crispy, glazed, crunchy, sweet." Corn Pops also contain mono- and diglycerides, used to bind saturated fat, and BHT for freshness, which is also used in embalming fluid. None of these are likely to be what mothers want to serve their children in an age in which a healthy breakfast is more likely to be egg whites and a bowl of fresh fruit.

SEARS? Really! They partnered with K Mart, and I noticed that ACE Hardware is now selling Craftsman tools.
I just hope one of them is “ObamaCare”.
It’s all we’ve got! :o)
Like "Cheese Nips"? Little yellow slanty-eyed crackers?
Cream of Wheat with real butter and a little sugar.
Brings back memories of those 80s Corn Pops commercials.
“Gotta Have My Pops.”
Dinner is about 7. Late night snack 10PM is "cereal"...with WHOLE milk.
I like smacks and pops once in a while in those space-age aluminum foil bags but I get healthy cereal 95% of the time.
I like hamburgers for breakfast sometimes, too. They have some lettuce and tomato and less fat than egg and sausage or bacon breakfast sandwiches.

1. Democrat
That is the only cereal that is known to empty your wallet.
I think it's the "fast" breakfast foods that are gross, but eating carbs in the morning will land me flat on my back around 10AM. I'm terrible at eating in the morning -- my stomach isn't awake until at least 9 -- but soft-boiled eggs are a miracle food. One or two and I'm good to go. No sugar crash! :)
COLON BLOW!
What a classic!
I remember seeing that when it originally aired. It was funny then and it is still funny.
I’ll top that. My boss had employees wash the disposable plastic ice cream dishes and reuse them. One time I recall coming into work and finding plastic soda straws drying to be reused. I threw them away.
I was 16 and dumb. I should have reported him to the health authorities.
“how about HOPE AND CHANGE brand?”
The empty box with a multi-trillion-dollar logo on the front?
“ACE Hardware is now selling Craftsman tools.”
I noticed that. Another weird thing is, when I buy something at ACE, within a couple days I get an e-mail from Amazon.com with recommendations for related items and accessories for it.
