Lt. Col. Lakin (M.D.- Active Army) -- first asked the Army to affirm that Obama
was constitutionally eligible to serve as President, and when his chain of
command refused, he then refused to deploy to Afghanistan until "eligibility"
was established (to force the issue to a head). Lakin’s argument is simple
and direct: a soldier must not be compelled to obey an "unlawful order"; an
"ineligible person" cannot serve as President and Commander-in-Chief and, thus,
cannot issue "lawful orders." He has thereby laid his liberty and whole career
on the line in order to honor his Oath to Support and Defend the Constitution
(especially Article II, Section 1, Clause 5), which must not be violated!

None of the citizenship issue will ever matter because there are no republicans who have the guts to say anything about it. As far as I’m concerned every one in congress is guilty of treason for allowing this to happen. Say goodbye to the constitution. And it’s just as much the republicans’ fault as it is the democrats. Maybe even more because we expect the democrat/communists to stomp on the constitution.
This gentleman is a True American Hero. If the Jackass in Chief isn’t eligible to serve in the first place, then he has no authority to command.

The liberals used to practically worship the Nuremberg Trials. If those trials made a single point, this was it: That a soldier or other official cannot plead ignorance as an excuse for obeying an unlawful command.
Evidently, however, liberals now feel that that rule no longer applies if the unlawful command is given by a certified leftist.
We need to embolden our leaders. Particularly by giving them a majority in both houses of Congress and by letting them know we don’t buy the media garbage. We want the rule of law back and this country is not going to recover in any way until we get it back.

One of the most important is that the country needs a watershed event to get past this insane oversensitivity to any challenges to blacks on any issue.

He was convicted of conspiracy (in the plot to kill Hitler) and, ultimately, made to commit suicide under threat of reprisals to his family.

Lakin sure has the courage of his convictions. He´ll only be in at most a couple of years though, as I think barry will finally pack it in to a populist uprising, knowing that he is ineligible to run and unable to prove otherwise .
But his jihadi damage will by then have been inflicted to whatever maximum extent he will have been able to achieve.

I've read this before and STILL can't believe that she came to this conclusion. I wonder if "the won" has been notified? Perhaps this "goofy reasoning" was done on purpose...so Lakin could appeal? Col. Lind doesn't want to rule on it? I can't figure out how these people think.
