Just as the healthcare drama in the capitol reaches a grand finale, congressional officials are warning employees to avoid the DRUDGE REPORT!
The Senate's Committee on Environment and Public Works issued an urgent email late Monday claiming the DRUDGE REPORT is 'responsible for the many viruses popping up throughout the Senate.'
The committee ordered hill staff: 'Try to avoid' the DRUDGE REPORT 'for now'.
On Monday DRUDGE served over 29 million pages with NOT ONE email complaint received about 'pop ups', or the site serving 'viruses'.
The site was seen 149,967 times since March 1st from users at senate.gov and 244,347 times at house.gov. [10,825 visits from the White House, eop.gov]
The Systems Administrator may want to continue taking her antibiotic until the prescription runs out.

Funny thing.....Drudge gets 25-30 million hits A DAY,
and 8 Billion hits a year....but only the SENATE gets a virus......Hmmmm....
LMFAO!!!!
The Senate NEEDS a virus, like Montezuma's Revenge to keep those big spending bastards home for a few weeks.
(I was going to say they needed a good outbreak of ebola in the Senate, but Big Sis Nappy over at der Department oof Homeland Insecurity might construe it as a *threat* instead of a >>joke<<, ja wohl?)

Hey, aren't they tearing down the stadium where Hoffa was supposed to be buried? Wonder if they'll find him! LOL
Note: someone a few years ago admitted to disposing of Hoffa's cut up body in some rural area or such, IIRC.
I seem to recall that story but forget who admitted to it, I always believed that Jimmy was in the end zone at Giants Stadium.

Dont worry I think Matt takes precautions, he knows Obama very well. Besides,Matt Drudges father is from Chicago
If we see Matt accepting an Ambassadorship somewhere, we'll know the 0bamunists got to him, but it is highly doubtful. ;)

“...to watch that show...”
If history is any guide, we ALL just may get that front-row seat view ourselves, through our own front doors (or dining room windows, or den doors, or kitchen windows). It’s a brand NEW song (with a tired, familiar OLD melody) called “4am Flashbang Boogiewoogie” by that new rap supergroup “Pimp Daddy Mack and The Ghetto Gestapo” and it’s GO time...
Not on our watch, brother...NOT on our watch.
LFOD...it’s NOT just a pretty slogan

I hate do say it, but it could be true.
I read drudge multiple times every day looking for new stuff. I used to sometimes leave drudge main page open as it was the last thing i checked to get my news before bedtime.
If you leave the page idle, it will auto-refresh as a given interval and the ad banners will rotate.
Over the past year, I have come to my desk the next morning, coffee in hand to grab some morning news only to find my AV had captured and squelched a virus in asp format.
I have to assume the code is embedded in one of the paid ad's that run on the drudge main page. Drudge surely has nothing to do with nor any knowledge of it, he just puts the banner on the page and takes the money.
I CAN tell you with 100% certainty that it has happened to me at least 1/2 dozen times.
Because of this, I don't leave the web page idle anymore at night. I haven't had a virus hit on the page for many months now, but I assume my page refreshes now are 90% less than they used to be while it refreshed for 8 hours while i slept.
I think the internal IT warning to staffers is legit and has little to do with politics.
