President Obama is in a fix over his country of birth.
The President started to dig the hole as Senate candidate and now he is president, the hole is getting deeper and uglier, mainly because of his evasive actions. Many Democrat supporters are either ignoring the problem or are vehemently attacking "birthers" who question the President's eligibility.
Republicans are not the only ones concerned about his eligibility. Libertarians, independents, constitutionalists and even democrats are wondering why Obama is fighting so hard to hide his origin.
Unfortunately, Obama dug the hole himself, and like a hole created when a water main leaks and then bursts, the hole is expanding day by day and as it does, the fallout is increasing.
The President and his legal teams have done everything in their power to prevent anyone from accessing his real birth certificate, if he has one, but there are other lines of investigation they cannot block.
During his campaign for the Senate, he and his team touted his Kenyan birth, possibly because it made him more appealing to the voters they needed. Unfortunately, admitting to his birth in Kenya makes him ineligible for the Presidency.
So the question now is, was he really born in Kenya and he told the truth in the Senate campaign, or was he really born in Hawaii, and the Kenya story was a lie, used to deceive Illinois voters.
Obama can't have it both ways. The answer to this question will be interesting!
Of course, he could say the campaign and the reporters all got it wrong, but it will be interesting to follow the trail on this investigation and discover the sources for the AP story that documents the apparent fact that Obama was Kenyan born.
If it wasn't the truth back then, why didn't he stop the campaign using that information and why didn't he make the AP issue a retraction?
Obama supporters who say it is nobody's business, need to take a step back, imagine the president is George Bush and ask themselves the same question they should ask now. "Is it OK for the President to hide his origin and what are his motives for doing it?"
I want there to be a simple, truthful answer to these questions, but I have a strange feeling the answer is not what any of his supporters wants to hear.
We have a good idea what the left would do if it was undeniable he was foreign born.
First, politicians would enact legislation to allow foreign born citizens to be president, grandfathering in Obama if needed. We know this from attempts of numerous Democrats having put forth legislation to this effect prior to and after the One was chosen.
The Courts would rule the people voted him in and would be hesitant to remove him from office because of this - that the people were lied to would not matter since politicians lie on a regular basis and that does not change the outcome of an election.
The press would put forth editorials on how the US is missing out by not allowing the greatest minds or most qualified people into the White House because they were born on foreign soil. They would defend Obama throughout if they even lowered themselves to report the story. Birthers would be blamed for harming Michelle and the Obama’s wonderful children.
The left would split with 1/2 denying he was foreign born even if he admitted to it, the other 1/2 would admit he was but not care. We’re all children of the world donchaknow...
For sure, Canada Free Press is a site to keep up with on information! It is investigative research at it's best!

It might not seem to matter but he has spent over $1 million, has the entire lamestream media on the attack, and is attacking anyone who questions his right to President.
I’d say that flack means were over target.

Of one thing I am 99 percent certain: based on what I know of birth certificates, BO was not born in ANY Hawaiian hospital.

There is NO other reason that would cause a person to fight like a banshee and at such expense just to hide WHO he is, where he came from, where he was educated, his medical records - absolutely EVERYTHING!! Why did this surprise you? Has Krauthammer previously dismissed "birther" talk as nonsense? Perhaps he is waking up to the facts?

Are you sure Krauthammer wasn't suggesting that Obama should be even "more thankful" to be in the US than he -- because Obama was "reared in Indonesia" and thus had experience with what it was like to live in the Third World?
That's the way I understood it.
Some law professors have already written papers arguing this very thing. They seem, however, to see access to the Presidency as a civil rights issue, when in fact it is a matter of national security that the chief executive be a natural born citizen with no conflicting loyalties.
He is America's first witness protection president.

I’d love it if Obama’s approval have reached the point where the media will actually start admitting to what they’ve known all along, or at least begin to investigate Dear Leader.
As has the LA Times, NY Times, LA Slimes and I believe one of the Seattle Papers.
I’m sure there have been more but the call to allow foreigners to enter the office of the Presidency started when Arnold went into politics but reached new heights when Obama was chosen to be the new Dem leader.
I usually have to go back and forth with someone a couple of times to realize that they are unable to have an open mind with a subject.
In 50 years I have never heard anyone define someone born in this country as “not being a natural born citizen.” Where the parents are born is of no consequence if the child is born on US soil. The child is automatically a natural born citizen of the country.
What you are saying is insulting to thousands of children of immigrants that have come to this country, fought in our wars, and participated in our society.
Your argument of “look on the internet and read what people write in forums” as the basis for your belief if beyond scary.
For God’s sake, I write on these forums. What makes me an expert on anything.
